[deleted post]Bruv i got it from the official samsung store. It cost me 1300 usd after taxes for the base variant. And i am not the first one to complain about the washed out colors on its display. Just google this shit and you'll find plenty of reddit and samsung members posts from the people who felt the same way as i did for the s25u. Oh and i tweaked a few settings on the equalizer and now it sounds better than my s23u - especially the kicks and treble. But in no way this phone deserves a flagship title.

forestman, 29 Dec 2025I bought this phone a few days ago and i am just disappoint... moreBrooo. Did you buy from AliExpress or someplace cheaper? Because mine does exactly opposite of what you have mentioned. Battery life is amazing for a 5000 mah ( not as good as other flagships) and the camera is really amazing. Display is the best in class with punchy vibrant colors and speakers are topnotch. May be your unit is faulty or a 2nd copy for which you got scammed, but the things you have claimed are not true tbh. Go check it from Official Samsung store for any faults. I hope you haven't got scammed.

Since the Galaxy S10+, I had transitioned from Samsung to Apple and upgraded annually from the iPhone 11 Pro Max through to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. However, after using the 17 Pro Max for nearly two months, I decided to sell it. Over the last couple of generations—particularly the 16 Pro Max and 17 Pro Max—I did not notice any truly meaningful improvements.
It is increasingly evident that Apple is no longer progressing at the same pace as its competitors, a sentiment now shared by many long-time Apple users who have successfully transitioned to Android and are satisfied with the experience.
I have recently returned to Samsung and have found that Android has evolved significantly over the years. Features such as AI integration, voice commands, battery performance, and overall system polish have improved remarkably. I am genuinely pleased with the decision to return to Android after such a long gap.

Can anyone find out what the maximum exposure time in pro mode is on its camera?
Entry-level Samsung phones: 10 seconds.
Panasonic compact cameras from the 2000s actually could expose up to 60 seconds!

I bought this phone a few days ago and i am just disappointed. My daily driver has been the s23u so i thought of buying the s25u just for fun. But it has failed to impress me, and sometimes feels like a downgrade.
The screen has lost its vibrancy - along with those pop colors samsung phones were known for, especially the high end ones. The iconic 3D like curved screen is gone and now it feels like a rectangular slab brick. No thoughtful design on the materials (a muted color scheme), the cameras are the same as they were four years ago apart from the signal processing and the software optimization of the photos, the spen has lost bluetooth (aight no big deal but hey its supposed to be the ultra), and the phone feels cheap when compared to its counterpart released almost three years ago. Oh and how can i not rant about the speakers: they feel cheap too, like something from a mid range phone. There is no way they sound muffled and tinny when compared to my s23u. The bass is not cleaner. I suspect cheap design strategy to cut costs.
I had a hard time adjusting to its flat display and getting used to the colors on it. They are not vibrant anymore and in some cases the whites appear less punchy than they did on the previous flagships. I cannot wrap my head around how samsung claims its supposed to be the brightest, latest display tech on a galaxy, but somehow my s23u has a tad bit more brightness even in high brightness mode (night light is off, extra dim is off, and vivid mode is maxed out in advanced settings). Don't tell me about the "anti reflective film" bs. I don't care. I just need my phone screen to pop and look vibrant, especially when my years old s9+ can display much vibrant colors.
You don't need the latest and greatest high end chip, the cartoony software that is one ui 8, or the longest software updates on a phone - a mid ranger in 2025 can do all of that. This phone does not deserve to be called an ultra by the 2025 standards. What did i pay 1300$ for? A subpar experience from a company which I now suspect is using cheaper displays on their s series phones?
Totally disappointed and wouldn't recommend any latest samsung flagships at all. Go buy if you still want the samsung one ui 8 experience and a meh experience with the display and screen. And no, i don't use apple either.

Klarent, 26 Dec 2025Why don't Samsung's top phones have a 4K display ... moreThere is no need for a 4K display at the moment. Sony had tried on their Z series back in 2016 and it failed completely because the battery life was so short, plus less than 10% of the content is processed in 4K.
4K displays are ok for a TV and not on the phone because its very difficult to watch and experience those colors on a phone rather than on a TV.

Najeeb Khan , 26 Dec 2025Why doesn't Samsung offer bigger batteries?after note 8, Samsung is cautious regarding big batteries. Probably after a few generations of SiC batteries on other brands, they will adopt it. They let others take risks in this regards.
