Nick Hawk, 3 hours agoWell it is the same boring design!
This new Ultra is nothi... moreSame with all top seller phone, more so with samsung and apple
But hey, If you want to appeal to everyone you gotta be rated E for everybody, a.k.a. simple as can be / "classic" as can be, or people will think you're making gimmicks to satisfiy smaller groups of people

Well it is the same boring design!
This new Ultra is nothing but a little upgrade for the previous version with newer CPU, and a little bit better telephoto camera and of course with an updated soft. But generally speaking it's a prove of lack of imagination and lack of interest to make serious evolution to make the Samsung customers happy.
It is quite boring to see year by year the same design with just a few upgrades meanwhile all brands makes serious progress in development.
One of other general big issues of Samsung products including the Smartwatches are the batteries!!! Come on, wake up guys!!! It is unacceptable to have a phone or especially a Smartwatch for active people who goes for out door activity and trips and suddenly find yourself out of power in the middle of nowhere!!! It is totally unacceptable!!!
This phone has the same battery as the previous phone and of course with same charging capacity and of course with the same short life. No way!!!
Honestly I am very disappointed despite I was in fond of Samsung products.

Darth Verde, 12 Jan 2025If you actually used your phone properly, with most things ... moreThis is 100% accurate. I can buy 1TB, many times over for $50 retail price. All three companies took away our memory card option and then sell us storage for 10x the price. Its disgusting. All of them. Apple. Samsung. You name it.

The Vivo X200 Pro launched in my regionn just before the S25 Ultra. The surprising part isn’t just that it’s back after the X50; it’s the price. At $2,150 for the X200 Pro, really?
The S Ultra, iPhone Pro Max, and Honor Magic Pro typically start around $1,499 to $1,599. These are the only high-end smartphone options we have. I wanted the X200 Pro, but now.... now I'm unsure.....

A lot of these top end phone companies like Samsun and Apple, need to stop releasing phones every year unless they have something exciting to add to them. They aren't even feeling secure enough to play out better designs than their previous 5 generations (in Apple's case an since inception). Look at Nothing Phones. Something exciting, something cool with every iteration with no rush to release every year. Listen to consumers, not shareholders!

Why do people ask for SD cards even in 2025? Don't you know that SD cards affect phone performance?

S6: we removed the SD card slot to see if we can get away with cost cutting
S7: we couldn't get away with it, so we brought back the SD card but removed the IR blaster for the lolz
S8: we removed the home button because who needs a home button when you have a fingerprint scanner in the worst most uncomfortable position ever?
S10: we removed all the sensors from the front to give you smaller bezels. The future of small bezels is here
Note 10: we're removing the headphone jack. The future of wireless headphones is here
S21: remember the SD card slot that we took away 5 years ago but brought it back next year? Yeeaaah... We're taking it back lmao. (PS, we're also removing the charger, but don't tell anyone!)
S25: we're removing the air actions from the s pen so people will start thinking it's useless and use it less and less so we can remove it and nobody will bat an eye, genius!

Anonymous, 5 hours agoFast charging is not so good for battery (was proved by tests)It's still not gonna fix battery aging atleast. Competition has better charging tech and battery tech with vivo coming up with new semi solid battery which will improve the long term with fast charging and with 6000mah. Face it Samsung isn't doing good these days.
