I just purchased the s25 ultra because the deals in the Netherlands with a contract are really good. I currently use the s23U (512). If i sell that i can upgrade for 280 euro for the 512 version and 400 for the 1tb with a 1 year contract. Would be 100 euro's cheaper if i choose 2 year contract but i want that bigger battery next year so plan on doing that again (or buying an amazing China ultra phone if they come out in Europe)

Szercop, 25 Jan 2025It probably has something to do with optimizing for battery... moreYeah excatly! iPhone's battery is known to have lesser capacity than 5000 mAh but they last longer than average Samsung with the same battery. So its not about capacity but more about software. Now new S25 Ultra took the step up and imoroved battery life drastically even with the same 5000 capacity. I am approaching to 3 days of using my brand new S25 Ultra and cannot believe it is possible for it to last that long on 1 charge with super heavy usage - close to 2 days while abusing the phone setting it up, downloading stuff, testing vidoe camera in 4K, playing games etc. I just imagine how long it will last with normal, not abusive usage. You dont have to believe me but I am saying true.

Not buying S25 Ultra as nothing much new. Everything is the same. It is gonna be a failure. Samsung should give atleast a edge design and reduce its size and weight . So sad. A disappointed samsung lover...

Once you hold this phone it feels very premium. It looks different in hand. The display is big, gorgeous and anti reflective. Beautiful phone!
