An Android update disabled all three. Wisely I bought it from an actual local Samsung shop, which eliminated much legal wriggle room.
Nevertheless, it took three months and repeated disingenuity by Samsung before they (or rather their UK vendor) caved in and gave a refund and £200 compo'. After checking with my ISP the S8 did still support these features I bought one from the UK Vendor (PRL). It worked just fine. Also all OK in S9, S22u, S23u, so time for an upgrade OMA.

My samsung Galaxy s20 Ultra 5g is still going fine, got a 1TB microSD in there, and DEX works great with Windows11. However,now there is no Wi-Fi calling despite google and samgung saying there is. Is this a backdoor way of forcing an update. I really would not have minded if I could still use my SD Cards :/

quite unusefull 67mm lens... and they still don't have a tele with macro capabilities. starting ultrawide at 13mm, i prefer a 30-35mm main camera and a single tele but with serious macro. still no 3d face recognition? come on....
