I don't see why he's complaining about the price of a phone that's almost a year and a half. What does he expect, should the price still be at $600 or should it drop from $600 to $599? Some people can be so impractical.

A guy ask me to fix his "always malfunctioning s5",turns out d device was not to be blamed but rather the poor dude is to be blamed as he loaded a bugy third party firmware into his phone during rooting in an attempt to satisfy his "unsatisfied ego".

Hello Friends,
Don't go for s5 now , its old phone launched last year ,below is my experience
Overpriced-->
I bought in the first week of the release for rs 50 k in india, lost more than 60% of value in 1 year.
Compare it with apple , feels the device is price is not right that's why it slips to less than half in an year and the device is not that premium for 50k.
Old Technology & Over Marketing-->
In the advertisements by Samsung these devices are shown as best in the universe but the irony is the device is not 4g , so if you buy this phone you will be teased with all the 4g advertisements coming these days on T.V.
No Timely updates & bug fixes-->
What more can i say the lolipop update provided by Samsung was a mere eye wash , its only some UI updates for you and some color changes :-), even the OS features are shadowed by Samsung customizations and Samsung is lazy with updates for bug fixes.
Go for Stock Android-->
I started using android with 2.3 version on my HTC desire S, in my 5 years journey with android i would suggest to go with stock android phones and not to go with customizations , be it any player Samsung, HTC, LG.
Same Features in 10K phones-->
You get 85% of the features of premium android phones tagged around 50k by different players in the entry level phones coming these days.
Costly after service-->
Spending on a high end device , either you have trust of apple or you dig big holes in your pocket.
I had a manufacturing defect of locked screen not waking up sometimes , out of lethargy i missed it to give my phone to service center during the guarantee period and now for this i will need to spend 8k , just because the sensor which may cost very less is part of the motherboard.

Samsung very lazy in updates.
Everyone knows Lollipop 5.0 has too many bugs including overheat, battery drain etc.
5.0.1 can solve some issues.
Samsung only interested in launching new phones.
Grand series, A series, Note Series, S Series, core, prime, edge, duos.
now J series.
Today is 28 September 2015 and Galaxy S5 is still running on 5.0
It is better if they downgrade to Kitkat or give us reliable update for S5 and S5 Duos.

I agree s6 battery is low compared to s5
but far better than present competetive other brand phones
Hello again .. s6 battery is low due to Its Quad HD resolution .. it is more power hunger
go take selfies only in water .. no body takes selfies under water
water proof is just useful for when sudden water splashes
no one pours water or put phone into water and use camera
sony sales are poor .. and camera is very bad
though samsung uses sony cameras .. better output
