I've used a wide array of phone brands, as far as android phones are concerned, and the Galaxy S5 is perhaps the best and the most versatile of all - the design is timeless, the performance is top notch, the battery life is superb, and it is IP67 certified. Even if it is a bit dated, but in my opinion, it is always better to get yesterday's flagship than buying the current mid-rangers..

vinod, 13 Jul 2015please suggest HTC M8 (android) or S5 G900F/FD (Dubai or Europe)HTC m8 is the legendary phone every body speaks highly of it in the internet. I'm using it too. I recommend it. It the only android phone that doesn't lag. As for samsung the lesser we talk about samsung the better. M8 a veteran phone. Go and buy it.

My only issue with it is the newest update has slowed EVERYTHING down noticably (Jellybean 5.0). I wouldn't know how any of the other new androids operate well enough to recommend anything else to you. It is still not a bad phone, but you will not get the same fuctionality as it used to have.

And S5 with Exynos is S5 SM-G900H.
Probably you won't get S5 with Snapdragon version in India. May be I am wrong.

I am using SI... moreSorry to know about your problem. So far I have used Galaxy SII, SIII. Now I am using S5. But never faced the kind of problem as you describe. Earlier I was using only Nokia mobile at the era of Symbion OS. My last Nokia mobile was N8.
However, all the Galaxy mobile I used and using are International/Europe version i.e SII (I9100), SIII (I9300) and S5 (SM-G900F). Don't know it makes difference or not.
