Its really a great phone by features. Selfie camera sucks still using it in 2018 since 2014 2 times battery replaced. however if you need to buy and sell used phones, post free classifieds

Also protects the phone and it's very durable. As for auto rotation, I installed Button Mapper and customized my soft keys, but it's easy to switch from the notification bar as well.

a) Water proof 1m
b) Own setting preferance quick button at home..good to quick on/off rotation function. No need to waste time via setting etc
c) The last hp with special cover function which can on/off the phone with the lid..(later hp don't hv this..main reason i'm still using s5)
For cosmestic..go buy this unique cover and your s5 will be new again

S5 is still great. Still using it and diff to choose other phone. The quick buttons are useful. Water proof..and the best part is auto-cover where u just open or close the lid for on/off function. Only this hp got this special cover.
For screen auto-rotation..just select the quick button..hassle free no need to go via setting unlike most other phone

However, you can disable most of them, and when you do it they will automatically revert to an old version which is usually much smaller in size.

This phone is a classic, great Display, great battery water and dust resistant, great camera, if you wipe the cache regularly it's fast and activate developer options to remove animations although the front camera is poor however 3rd party apps can enhance it
I don't see the need to upgrade my S5 gave the P20's camera a run for its money haha :D

Since 2014 October, Perfect mobile, worth to the money spent.Water/dust proof...I don't know the reason for discontinues. If I can find, I love to buy another one for my brother!!!

I was a heavy user too and phone lasted only for 6 hours for me after a single charge or if I use it occasionally then they phone would survive for 9 hours max with power saving mode turned on both the times

I keep reading about how the battery in this phone is good, but my 16 GB Galaxy S5 barely lasts me a full day. I start using it fully charged around 7 in the morning and it's usually dead around 5 PM. Granted, I'm a heavy user and have a few power-hungry apps installed, but I still think a phone should last more that 10 hours regardless.
