And my honest opinion is the galaxy s5 is not as nice as the note 2. They've seem to of dropped the ball on newer technology style phones. The new ones are slimmer and function fine but they're boring and too basic. The older phones like the note 2 have say more functions and are user friendly. The s5 is honestly a pain to use if you're into lots of features. I'd go with a note before an s5 series anyday.

Since I updated the software this week 21feb15 the battery won't last more than 5 hours don't get the lolly pop upgrade. Loved the s5 till this issue. Hope they fix this issue soon

I own the G900H, the octa-core version. I have no problems with it. Battery generally lasts me for more than a day. CPU is fast. I have never had to do a battery pull to fix any form of hanging problems. I have been using it since October. On average I get a lot more than 20 hours on a single charge. This morning the battery was at 50% after 21 hours 48mins of use. My usage yesterday consisted of a few phone calls, whatsapp, Facebook, photography and a social media app called waplog. No matter how hard I use my S5 it lasts for more than a day or at least more than 20 hours. It can easily last two days. To show how strong the battery is, a one hour call only uses 3% of the battery compared to my previous phone the S2 (i9100) which always used 8% of battery for a one hour call. If I don't use it heavily I'm sure it will last me for 3 days or maybe longer. The S5 battery is the best I have ever seen for an Android device. The benchmarks declares the Octa-core the fastest. I have not spent enough time with the Snapdragon version to see if it's slower or faster than the Exynos version but all I know is that my Exynos Octa-core S5 is fast, power efficient and problem free. I'm running the original OS which came with it KitKat 4.4.2 and I am sticking to it. I have heard enough horror stories about Lollipop to avoid it. So I'm good with my S5 as it is.

I like the phone itself but I get not service at all. My son has a signal everywhere we go but I normally have to walk outside. It will not text with wifi and when I am inside a building I don't have enough signal to receive a call. I didn't have these problems with the last Samsung phone I had.

Whoever signed off on the proud (stick-out) power and volume buttons should be examined. They are the two dumbest features. It is so easy to turn off as you pull the phone from your pocket - only to cut the call. And when using the phone it's so easy to unintentionally bring the ring volume right down.
