Those other nonsense heart rate monitor, fingerprint scanner will attract some kids for sure, but well wise persons won't even think for a second about those nuisances.
Now is it worth paying 75% extra for the S5 than what S4's price is now just for build quality? Heck NO! I mean how stupid one could be.
The last device for which I paid a lot was Note 2, it was piece of cRaP, so waited for three months after S4 was released just to buy it at a cooled down price, turns out money superbly well wasted again, as it was THE WORST phone I have ever owned, surpassing that BlackBerry flip phone I have used back in 08 or 09!

AnonD-51456, 14 May 2014When you consider buying the S5, you should consider many t... moreI took my S5 back today and got S3 and 280 quid back on my credit card..Its more my size and not much different except for one thing (besides 4k video)and that's the screen...The screen on the S5 is absolutely top of the range ,,its very bright superb colours and pin sharp..The S3 screen is quite dull in comparison.
It would be good when S5 mini comes out and they use the same screen tech plus 4k video that would suite me great..
Apparently there has been a camera update just after I returned S5 ,,typical but anyhow still can try S5 again when price comes down its not end of world..If you can handle size of phone S5 is a good device.

When you consider buying the S5, you should consider many things. As every year a new S is launched, some new features are added and the main hardware of the device is upgraded. But compare the S5 to the S4, you will find what is newly added ? A fingerprint sensor, a heart rate meter, IP67 dust-water certification and a slight increase in the camera and the processor.
If you are a new buyer, are you willing to pay almost twice the price of the S4 for just a couple of new features and slight upgrades. I know that many people would easily change their phone every year so they find this normal, but I and many others don't. I am talking here about the average users. If I want a new phone now and got its cost in my hands now, I would buy an S4 and save the price difference for something else. And if I am about to save, I would save until I got my money ready, then wait for the S6 to roll onto the market and I would go buy the S5. Why???
Because every time a new S is on the market, the previous model price gets ridiculously low. That also means that I am losing a great value in my phone if I want to sell it. And the changes made in every model are not life changing. Though the S3 is two years old now, but when you consider its specs it still is a great phone with 720p display with pixel density above 300ppi, a quad-core processor, a clean 8MP camera and almost the same user interface as the S5. What I need to say from all this is don't be that stupid person who will go buy a brand new highly priced S5 3 or 4 months before the release of the S6, as you will be wasting your money and a four months later you lose much in your phone's price and it is outdated. Or the other stupid person who throws away a galaxy S4 to buy a brand new highly priced S5.

My boyfriend uses my phone to make calls as i have unlimited minutes, but he checks on my whats app and my contacts list and i just want to have some sort of lock on but where you can still make phone calls!

I only have one concern about s5 is its sound quality during call. I presently own s3 and experts in a TV show claim that due to waterproofing s5 sounds very low during call as compare to s3 or s4.
