India adds tax for importing and every state adds tax again.
Just look at Nexus 5 price
$350 i.e 21k phone is sold at 32k.

well, let me start by saying
something about the price Samsung
Galaxy S5 (US Version) MSM8974AC
Snapdragon 801 off the contract
there is available at 649$ US which
is around 40000 INR. with their
pseudo "Octa Core" which is lower
spec and lower GPU is priced 48,000
INR. which makes me wonder, if
they think we are fools or they
think our economy is worlds best
and we have very high per capita
income. in this age of net and
online shopping, some companies
forget that all info is available at
fingertips of people i wont comment
on specs of the cell, as no doubt it
will be good for those who have lots
of money to burn and replace this
handset when S6 comes but for a
avg user, i would just suggest and
request that "Please use your brain
and judgement" i am just amazed
when ppl point out we are 3rd world
with 1/2 of population living on 1$
or less daily income and then price
their items so high and that too
lower in spec. HTC makes good
handsets but they started charging
premium for everything and look
where it has landed them. in my
opinion and just mine, i have given
1 star just cause i feel cheated on
basis of spec and the price
difference

I think these "S" class of Samsung are REAL Crapy phones. Only "Note's" can do something, other's nahhh. I think no one can't make future BEST phones like Apple, HTC & BlackBerry. Best phone's ever, and I won't change them ever. Peace :-)
