I wish gsmarena would open up votes where you got about 6-7 votes per day again..I used to love this as peoples went hell for leathers trying to vote up score of their fave phone..What happened was when phone was released and it was no good people started voting it down again...It also showed popularity better as some phones had about 84 votes and others had 1000's..

Guys i have been a samsung user from past 4 years. Those having complains about its build quality are correct to some extent, its not as good as some other flagship models in market.
just to let you know i visited O2 store today where is was on display and looked very good. its actually blazing fast and new ui icons have IOS 7 looks. some icons looks exactly like ios 7. camera pictures were good but tell you what although i have already pre-ordered Xperia Z2 but i was very tempted to buythis one. any way its everyone personal choice.
there are many S5 haters but fact of matter is it is "the fastest android handset" available in market (only few). pls dont start comparing it with tablets.
Despite not buying this i still say its not a bad choice. every handset has some short comming and S5 is no exception.
Just an advice. Dont fall for others commnet here, search the net, do your research on few good forums and if it satisfy you go for it.

Users are critical towards the design of the s5 due to the fact that they are being left in the dark in terms of competitors using more durable materials for casing like the aluminium casing on the Sony Xperia z2 for example. At least the s5 has joined the band wagon in regards to the water and dust resistance in their design this time around. This being said, i'm having difficulty understanding why this model phone has received such poor reviews already. It appears to have a significant number of features, and in terms of specifications, be leaning towards the higher end of the market compared to it competitors. In my opinion the only real let down was the case design and the minimal effort made to combat the ongoing issue of battery life as this seems to be an ongoing issue with the galaxy range. I'm not a fan of apple at all but if they are smart in the approach they'll listen to complaints about the s5 and ensure the same mistakes are not made for the release of the iphone 6. They conveniently have 5 months or so, to iron out any similar design flaws... Come on Samsung pick up your game! You've already upset the Indian market by releasing a "nerfed" model there. They rank number 2 globally in terms of mobile phone users, smart move... not

How can this be rated so poorly already?? Can anyone provide a legit reason for this. Admittedly they could have done with a aluminum case this time around the specification are high end and the performance cannot realistically be so low. Given the galaxy's track record its fair to assume the battery life will prove problematic will all the features on offer.. thoughts??
