advice, 25 Feb 2014i am excited to know how the heart rate monitor will cause ... moreheart rate monitor - read my post again -with " open heart" - HRm can be dangerous if showing lower HR in cases of sudden heart block - which is well known to happen during exercise . WEB SEARCH sudden cardiac death in young athletes fottballers etc. HR monitor is useless dangerous gimmick .. S5..

I will upgrade from my S2 to S5. Its been 3 years and not a problem so far with my S2. I had a Nokia 71E before I change to the S2. Samsung build and use of material can be better.

for me the only thing i like about this phone is the finger print sensor but the same bad design and same mono speaker at the back of the phone and i isn't water proof it is water resistance that mean if you want to took a picture under water you cant go for the z1 and the same amoled desply mean over color

No Native AC3 support ? Why they would take something away is beyond me especially for playing media. Sure you can get another app to play it via software but its a pain.

Samsung has given Galaxy J as 3 gb RAM and not in ... moreI own the LG G2,I watch 4k videos,great display, small bezels like never seen anywhere,I enjoy 4G internet etc, I don't think this thing called S5 is nothing close to my G2...don't spend a penny on it, go for Z2 or wait for The new HTC, or LG G3...they will be massive.....

Ugly design, similar specs, and bigger is not really better. S4 was already the limit in terms of size. A complete disappointment.

I thought they'll at lea... morei don't know what is the android phone u r using now,that needs more than 2gigs of ram,but as i know only the note 3 might need more ram because of extensive multitasking ,other high end phones will work perfectly even with just 1.5 gigs,but for marketing reasons some manufacturers will put larger rams to draw some costumers.

sony xperia z2 is better than galaxy s5 and both are dustproof and waterproof, same screen size ,
sony xperia z2 has the z1 camera which is 20.7mp and z2 supports 4k video recording and galaxy s5 does not support or have 4k video recording

Only 2GB of RAM, are they serious? I thought they'll at least put 3GB or be the first (as usual) to put at least 4GB.

This phone sucks. It is ugly as hell. Samsung is going down. If I was Samsung addicted...now it is time to move on. Poor support, poor updates...poor Samsung!

Honestly don't see why so many are hating on this phone. Samsung wanted to design an inexpensive phone with upgraded features and performance and they did just that

I'm utterly disappointed at Samsung. I expected an improvement on my GS4 but nothing interesting. Ugliest high-end smartphone(can't they honestly employ somebody else for design of their phones), poor battery compared to, say, Sony Z2 etc, more gimmicky features than we expected on successor of the excellent GS4. I'll rather upgrade with Z2 or latest HTC, despite hating the non-remmovable battery on Sony phones(should be done away with) and plasticky screen on Sony phones(good news with no factory-fitted protective film on Z2), having last used a Sony with Xperia S that had freezing and slow-response issues.
