I thought by now Samsung would be investing on OLED technology and apply such on this S5 model. The specifications for this handset is fair yet the Note 3 has the upon hand. Please don't compare these handsets to the iPhone since it has a more minimalist approach and limited features which Apple has control of.

myself also very disappointed,about the s5,but i think their will be surprise pack ,as rumored before their will be two version of samsung galaxy s5 ,one with fhd with 2gb and another with 2k with 3 or 4 with gb 64bit processor,
lets wait ,as of know we have seen the first rumored s5 which was true what it rumored,,,lets all samsung lovers around the world hope another rumored leaked with 2k will dream come true,,,
i think samsung kept secret of this ,lets hope in two days they will reveal or sometimes afterr they will release samsung s5 as galaxy s 5s or with label premium galaxy s5

seriously samsung? this is not we hope for s5, its more like S4s... not much upgrade to look at.... all spec pretty still the same with s4, even sony xperia z2 has bigger update than s5. im always a fan of high tech breakthrough, this one clearly its not breakthrough at all i hope from samsung :(
definetely wont upgrade my s4 to s5.
galaxy note 3 still much better though.
u better fix it on S6 next year, otherwise im afraid the mighty galaxy S has fallen...

Somethings abt s5 i like the water resistence body (removable battrey and backcover) with super amoled screen but it has taken its tool in design i did not like the back cover design and the same old s4 type design its not even a phablet that due to big size it will look good...the design sud have been a little squreish and diffrent ...trust me samsung u really need a better design in ur mid sized flagship phones... Fingerprint scanner is ok i have no problem with technology advancements i do not mind who copies who..."sensors" put all of them i dont mind ..and 128 gb card support great ...better for 4k videos for some with 4k tvs etc.lets see what is the pricing ...in india cud be around inr 49990..what say guys?

So disappointed on this new galaxy..better to stay on galaxy s4 and wait for new htc one or iphone 6 :-(

2- Bigger screen
3- Water and dustproof design
4- Real Heart rate monitor
5- Faster CPU and GPU
6- Faster USB and improved MHL
Yeah samsung produced this phone from plastic but you know what if you damage your screen and wanna replace self then it is easy and could be done in 20 mins (max) and cheaper than other brands!
Also you can change battery cover as you want also cheap...
There are already polymers in our life, mostly in kitchen most of devices are made of polymer plastic.

Producing phones from aluminum gives 100 times more damage to earth than plastic and where you think goes that chemical waste which became after finishing process?
Yeah apple rocks about design but they also destroy the world while using extreme amount of aluminum/metal!
I were also expecting a bit improved phone but if you compare other brands generations then you'll see there are enhancements.
And no, you don't need to sell your S4 because, it still 1000 times better than any apple phone.

This is just sad...it's heavy same Soc(snapdragon 800) sure it's water proof but its HUGE for a 5.1 inch display phone plus still it has 2 gigabytes of ram and the same lame design. COME ON SAMSUNG!
