Recently, my wife replaced her S2 to S4 via an upgrade option from her service provider (no need to mention which carrier). She normally listen FM Radios when cooking.
Free, no need to pay with the internet data.
She was disappointed when she found out that her new mobile does not have the FM Radio.
She did not research the spec before because she never thought any producer would take features out.
Now, my S3 upgrade time is approaching, I am researching almost daily, to make sure that my next purchase will not disappoint me. If S5 does not have it then my next preference will be LG G3.
Well, remember Windows 8? Taking out features always come out worst compared to just keeping it.

I would choose any other option rather than any phone without radio.

The specification indicates No FM Radio.
I thought that Samsung has learned from their earlier mistake in the Galaxy S4.
FM Radio have given Samsung addional score against its competitor. The Galaxy S3 have it. But they remove it from The Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Cat4.
This action has been a major turn off for many customer and cause them to choose LG G2 instead.
If the Galaxy S5 also does not have FM Radio then Samsung will get several points deducted in their competition in the smartphone market, as many of their existing customers will (or may have) move on and find other devices/brands.
FM Radio is really a must have feature for many people in many countries.

and android is based on linux and java and c++
so there is a hell lot of diffirence between them
am gona tell you why ios is faster on lower end specs because unix is based on lower dvm not like android
android system takes at least 1.2 ghz and 210 ram to be at least responding
samsung will be always the best
iphone is dead mac is dead to apple is a falure android was an open source by google and still google is not afraid that microsoft or apple use android bec google knows that wp devices and apple phone cannot use android if it was built from source but microsoft and apple knows that if it run on a phone like s5 or note 3 it will beat all of it devices

Vish, 19 Feb 2014specifications are same as fo s4.... oly thing change in sc... moreand CPU, and Body, and colors, and fingerprint scanner and some more stuff which makes the difference bigger than Galaxy S4 and htc One had from each other, and that means a complete new phone to S4, I've sold the s4 that I had and am waiting for the S5 to arrive

The galaxy s2 was better than the iphone 4s and the iphone 6 already lost the battle even before it was released.
I really cannot understand why would you buy a piece of tinfoiled glass box instead of a real smartphone, that can actually do what a smartphone is supposed to; be a portable PC with integrated phone...
Yes there will be some still trying to argue about plastic vs tinfoil, but in the end the galaxy wins since;
1. You drop your iphone, you lose your phone, or have to use a broken piece of shit.
2. You drop your galaxy S 1/2/3/4/5, you lose nothing.

Why does that matter though? Get the one that fits you better than how it fits everyone else. I like the larger screen, but some people want a smaller more manageable phone, so they pick the S series. Personally, I have had my Note 2 for a year and a half and it is still going strong, and I still love it, no reason to upgrade yet, so I'm waiting for the Note 4, rumored to be released August/September.
