MM does provide some more features like app permissions etc. But the main reasons why i like mm is it faster, smoother, no strange errors (touch wood). I got over 60,000 on Antutu benchmark which was a huge improvment. Almost all of the gains came from the UX section which covers real world usage. This tells me samsung has done some great software tweaks.

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2016i think network spec says LTE means it's 4G, don't you think?!But in the settings it has only options to select GSM(2G) or WCDMA(3G)

I purchased the S5 two weeks ago and it was used.It is on Marshmallow and it is perfect.I hope that this phone will be good in the next period.Apsolutely worth of buying.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2016I got a Samsung S5 phone & when I got it I used it mayb... moreI too purchased the Samsung Galaxy S5, and the warranty ends in two weeks. The phone screen goes black. If I take the battery out and put it back in it may or may not display. My problem is with the screen display. If I can get the display to work, I can be playing a game, and it will slowly black out. If it turns off when not in use, it won't display after that as well. I went to Bell store, and they mentioned water damage and if dropped. I said no... and that I had a protective case on it. She then continued to say it would cost me $40 to send away, $250 for a loaner phone, and if it was said damage, I would have to pay for that. They didn't do anything but recommend I go on-line with BELL, where I ordered it from, so I did. They could only recommend I call Samsung at 1-800-726-8764. I then called Samsung. They want pictures of the phone... the receipt when purchased (a year ago) and to email it to them. I have no receipt, as that was a year ago. I am not eliglble for upgrade until 2017. The phone also got really hot to touch on one side. Has anyone else experienced this with their Samsung. I always recommended the Samsung to all my family, which they have switched, however, this service was not what I expected.

With mm i only had 100mb system space left but i've had no problems installing countless apps. I installed mm through odin and the install wasn't clean. Alot of my apps,data was still there after the flash and the phone was playing up. So i did a factory wipe and the phones been running great. Had to reinstall the apps, data. I of course did a nandroid backup before upgrading to mm just in case it sucked. Do yourself a favour and upgrade to mm.

lately my sansung galaxy s5 really brother me, when i try to save a picture from google chrome, it ask me for storage access permission, and then it ask me to turn off some screen overlay. why give me all these trouble to just save one picture?

I got a Samsung S5 phone & when I got it I used it maybe for 2mons max. After that I wasn't able to use cause it got so HOT it wasn't able to be used . I took to a store where we were able to & the person there said that I could emplacement the battery , but wasn't sure if that would help the reason it was getting so hot . So, we got back to our home town & I took back to where I bought it & since for known reasons we were not able to go there before the warranty ran out all they said was , call Samsung ! So, they did not a single thing for me . I called Samsung & they said , we not help you since you have no warranty anymore . I told them my situation & they said , we'll call this number & they will tally oh what you will have to pay for the repairs . Are you serious I haven't used the phone cause it was too hot to use & when I had warranty they still didn't help me & now you want me to pay again you for something that never worked right in the first place are you kidding me . I'm sorry I will & have told anyone & everyone that Samsung does not stand beside their customers what so ever. I'm now stuck with a phone that was only used for 2mons & it's one of the worse buys I have ever bought . As I have said Samsung is NOT a good buy BEWARE they ar not good to deal with . A very very unsatisfied customer !!!!

Love my Samsung Galaxy Note 5..best ever! Always choose Samsung phones..best photos! Just curious why i have lost my whole album of photos? Has happened twice now in 12 months, have i done something wrong? Or do photos delete if to full? I do take a lot of photos. .CURIOUS, anyone else had this happen? ☺

My S5 G900F just updated to M6.0.1 but security patch isn't the latest but July. Any one knows what best Region Firmware always updates to the latest "Security Patch" w/c is most important?

Hi All, it seems that updating to latest Google play services seems to trigger a wakelock and keep the device awake. I went to sleep yesterday and today morning the phone was hot. When checking, google play services has been keeping the device awake for over 8 hrs. Only way i could stop this by reverting to factory version of Google play services. Any idea how to resolve this issue?
