Hi, im from india. Im using this phone for the past one month. I bought it from ebay for 26k. It has two sim card slots and 1 sd card slot. This phone is awesome. It asked everytime for lollipop update. Initially i afraid to update but there is no 4g selection option in kitkat. Iam using airtel sim with activated 4g, but 4g icon not come and it shows only 3g. So Within 5 days i decided to update to lollipop to resolve this issue even after reading several reviews in this site saying do not update to lollipop, and updated this phone to lollipop by accepting the over the air update. The update is 1gb(approx). After the update phone automatically display a message saying another system update for 300 mb (approx). I become happy and installd this another update. There is not single issue in this phone after this update. All things working great including camera, otg function, display clarity, finger print sensor, dual sim and sd card slot(im using 64gb), 4g now working with 4g symbol showing on the top, . We can use 4g in both sims without changing sim cards, battry backup also perfect, min 36 hrs with more than average usage, sound also good, gps location fixed within seconds, i didn't try wireless charging option till now as i have to change the back cover with another capable one to use this. Im really happy to have this phone. Any questions regarding this phone pls reply. Thanks.

greetings, why is that some models of the s5 duos has got absolutely no problems with lollipop and some have major problems, and that too nothing to do with the region, which particular firmware of lollipop is the most stable as of now, anyone? tcool, any ideas, please help

U know my case is different. I was using 2 sims from same operator, sim1 with data and sim 2 with gsm only and i had issues with sim2 calling. I changed a different operator with sim2 and did phone restart several times and now its working perfect after few days of use. God knows how it became perfect by its own.

Hi, can you please let me know whether there are 2 sim card slots + 1 sd card slot, or is it 2 slots in total and we have to choose (either 2 sim cards or 1 sim + 1 sd card). I've read that in s5 mini duos there are 3 slots (is that right?), but I'm not sure about s5. thanks!

Arad, 06 Jul 2015Hi. i have a big problem, my galaxy have android 5. but wh... moremy friend i have same your problem but i discoverd a way for that,if you use two simcard your two simcard should be from a same oprator company,if use two simcard from different compny operators you must not use 3G data because if use 3G data second your simcrd will be out of rich and make disorder in your phone.

you should use two simcard from a same oprator and be same same .if u use two simcards from different ompany oprators the s5 duos have disorder signals and if turn on 3G data second simcard you lose the signal for second simcard.

Nadeem, 08 Jul 2015Same problem with me and no one here replying that how to m... moreI don't know what you are talking about but my S5 Duos works perfectly fine while SIM 1 is connected to data, it can receive call on SIM 2. I tried playing YouTube wit SIM 1 data and call the SIM 2 number and it receives the call. Then I tried playing internet radio with SIM 1 data and call SIM 2 and it also receives the call. Mine was updated to Lollipop.

Arad, 06 Jul 2015Hi. i have a big problem, my galaxy have android 5. but wh... moreDon't use its data to connect to internet. Use a WiFi. There are lots of 3G WiFi available with cheap price. It will also save your phone's battery power longer when using WiFi instead of the SIM data.
