After the lolipop 5 update on my s 5 duos the size of the ram became 1.66 giga instead of 1.88 giga is that correct with our friends have the same mobile SM-G900FD ? and if that correct why decreasing? It is very weird

I did the upgrade and battery life is a lot better. Though you can have some Wifi issues. Like on some business networks, it tends to crash the mobile data when disconnected from that Wifi.
But I would certainly advise you to take a proper backup and do a factory reset immediatly after the upgrade. All the blocked installations for the UAE eg. seems then lifted (since I've done it I suddenly have the car mode.... Not that it's so interesting...;); tried it and disengaged it...). One big change of the upgrade is the possibility to optimise your apps (found under battery). Then you can let them sleep deep and save power...
But don't optimise apps you want notifications from...
If you do the update is up to you...
I can tell you I'm eager to have the Marshmallow to finally have the permissions for my apps in my own hands (that should update arrive the coming month(s)...)...

Hi guys tell me how i can change the bands like LTE only,WCDMA only,etc will be a secret code like other mobiles are #*#*4636*#*# in which show the phone info wifi info and more. What is the code of this mobile please someone help me becouse i want to apply On LTE only i have weak signal in my area not a perfect for me the LTE/WCDMA/GSM/Auto band

Hi everybody i need for an advisors if our android masters about the lolipop android for s5 dous cuz i heared some complains of using it now i working very perfect with kitkat but need some more new looks without any distribution in my phone software or hardware and my version is for UAE so what do u think about upgrading please advise

i bought s5 duos through ebay, it supports india... moreSorry to say but my phone does not support 4G.I am airtel customer have contacted the service provider several time but in vain, they always said your model will not support 4G as it is not the Indian version or else show ur phone in Samsung gallery.They also said we can't help you.Friends pls help

This is not a problem of the duos. This is actually a dual standby phone, not dual active... so when one sim is active, then the other one will be off.

Hayat, 09 Oct 2015hi im currently using sim1 for data access and sim2 for cal... moreOn calls, when you are using either of the sims, the other sim will be deactivated during the call. Similarly, When data is active on one sim, then the other sim is inactive. This phone is dual standby, not really dual active. However, when you are in (for example) sim one, using data, you can still make a call on sim two, and this will automatically disable sim 1 (data). So in order to receive calls on sim 2, forward the calls of sim 2 to sim 1 when not reachable, then you wont miss a call anymore. Thats actually how the button "dual sim active" works on the duos. But beware, some networks charge for call forwarding. Please note too that when data is "on", there are times you can still receive calls on sim 2, the reason for that is, when no data is being downloaded on sim1, then sim one is not active, therefore, its on dual standby. On messages, they will only come in when both sims are on standby, because there is no forwarding/divert for messages. I myself have this configuration, Sim 1 for data (prepaid) and sim 2 for calls ànd text (POSTPAID). Same mobile network, so no forwarding charges.
