I've also upgraded to lollipop a couple of months ago, and it's OK for me, on standby it seems that the battery consumption is a bit less than it used to be with kitkat. I can also report that the integration of the stock messaging app with AndroidWear as dual sim is fine now (it wasn't for kitkat) and also the fingerprint unlock works also in case of enterprise exchange policy.

you can freely update to lollipop. since im using it for 6 months and my phone is smooth and not found any lag on battery drain till now.
never look for others review. just go for it.
i suggest a full factory reset through recovery mode once update is completed. this will work and you'll love lollipop.

I wabt your advise about upgrading to lollipop since i did not upgrade my phone ever (bought it 1 year ago)
Is it better to upgrade or i will fase so many annoying issues more? What abiut battery drain on lollipop? Is it more or less than kitkat?

and there is a murmur regarding marshmallow update for s5 duos which is held on the up coming months. and trust we will see many changes like theme support, battary life etc. lets wait and see

I know both networks can not simultaneously be on the 3 or 4g network. When I travel abroad I switch data to the home country sim card. Therefore, do both sim slots support 4g or would I have to swap the sims over? Thanks

Purchased my S5 Duos August 2015 and once i turned it on and connected wi-fi updated to lollipop 5.0. Have been testing phone various features and found that voice command for answering/reject calls don't seem to work. Is it my phone or has anyone else experienced this problem? If so any suggestion to resolve?

Now I'm happy to my s5 duos because both simcard are working, even im using sim1 for data internet sim.. and sim 2 for my personal sim.. thanks for updating OS lollipop. check the new update to your fon.. then try to call your fon with data internet sim.. it is working both.

after lolipop update in my phone
there is problem of sending message from only that sim in which we have send message from that sim last time by message apk.
its only problem for mobile banking software used for dualsim for different sim...
i can send message from both sim as i like to send from message apk.
but by changing default sim for sending message from notification bar..

After a few days testing the phone with the new update, it's a little let down. The signal from your secondary or the non 4G set sim has a weak signal once it's been idle for a few hours. When I'm home, I may not able to call or receive or send messages until I go outside my house, but once I send atleast one message, I can go back inside and do another sms with a good signal, it will be good until i go idle for a few hours. This is with only wifi and bluetooth running in the background.
Stil this is much much better than before. I ready they will rollout to Android 6 next year and hope that update will fix this issue. not add more issues.

Amazing! I also had a patch today and both sims are working now. Although the secondary sim has less signal strength, even the indicator shows full bars, and sometimes I cannot send sms on the secondary, but it is still much much better!
