I've found this phone to work almost perfectly in all the important areas. The only problem I've had is minor - can't get into photo album after rebooting (need to try to open album three times before it actually does open).
Good points:
Screen, battery life, charging speed, operating speed, removable battery, expandable memory, waterproof (very important for me) especially good because the USB and jack ports are left open so no fuss, great sound while using as a phone. Price: €300 in early spring 2015. Really put the iPhone 5 to shame.
Bad points:
One minor software glitch (mentioned above), camera not as good as my old Samsung W. Chromed plastic frame is not durable. Fingerprint sensor not as good as Apple's, and does not work with wet finger or after carrying out manual work for a few days.
The horrid look has grown on me - I'm glad I chose the white one.
I'm switching to the S5 Neo because I would like a bigger screen and it now has open ports (that the old S5 didn't have).

I have successfully upgraded my SM-G800H to Lolipop 5.1.1 using the image from http://www.youmobile.org/blogs/entry/-Firmware-Download-First-Samsung-Galaxy-S5-mini-duos-SM-G800H-official-Android-5-1-1-Lollipop-update-is-Rolling-out
Also, managed to solve 1GB memory bug with a RAM fix:
Go to the phone app and type *#9900#
Change debug mod to high
The device will reboot and when it boots up the lost 330mb will back

i bought this phone last year.... ir work fine... the battery life good and gps too... i advise anyone to buy this phone.. 'it's worth it

The smartphone is copasetic, good specifications and good price.
But, if you need a GPS support, just forget. This function have big problems in many versions.
