Pop, 09 Jun 2015Why the hell Are you talking about laptops and Chinese prod... moreI have both S6 and S5, depending what your iphone model is, the choice will be up to you :

S5 has a bit better battery life than my S6 in same usage conditions (and same OS : lollipop), not talking about websites comparisons but from personal experience. This can be explained because it lacks the permanent limiting options for power saving existing on S5.
Globally S5 has more functions compared to newest touchwizz on S6.
Some examples here : www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26798

But S6 is just faster in everything for a better android experience (stock android disappoints many since it lacks many default features that people have to look for by adding apps from the store).
Photos are really better in low light and at nights (you can take outdoors night photos with no flash with just moon light or another weak light source).
Speaker at bottom is less muffled than on the back.
For the rest you can read every comments from others.

Both devices heat, by charging or in moderate/heavy usage, that's normal, they have fast cpus like any flagship.

The only high quality chinese phone i have seen is from Asus(Taiwan specifically), Huawei and Vivo. At least they dont make phone with cheap plastic. HTC from China also known to have high reputation as well. They should have it in the UK by now. You probably dont even know which is chinese and which is not.

They are more used for assembling mobile devices for the larger competitors. This does not mean they are not capable but they are well known for using materials such as plastics that are not made to the same standards as other well known brands. I have not seen any Chinese phones in the shops here in the UK the only way to purchase a Chinese phone is through the Internet. I'm sure it will change in the future but not to the same level as today's top brands.

UK is a beautiful and modernized country...^_^ I do know that there always goes wrong when China is making electronic devices--more frequent than other countries. And there seems to be some people complaining when working in China--most notably FoxConn. I could tell that there are some Chinese phone makers, such as Meizu, trying to sell their products to many other countries, but I think it is kinda difficult for their products to be accepted. Also the politic in China might have something to do with this. Some of their phones were preinstalled with spyware or things like that, according to some unofficial rumor. I am not sure so I am unabke to comment about it.

Without a good reputation and customer service it will be unlikely that apple and samsung will be threatened by the mass produced Chinese phones.

If you feel better buying a Chinese phone that's up to you but don't expect the same reliability and service from the manufacturer. Snapdragon 820 is not even being announced until September so you would be waiting for beginning of next year to get it. Glad its your money not mine.

Korea is very professional when it comes to internet, making chipsets and mobile phones--they are also very good at marketing just like Apple Inc. I won't deny that Chinese phones will surpass Samsung and Apple, but that won't happen anytime soon. Give it another 4 years and we will find out what it is...^_^hehe

Other than the look they are completely different so people just pay more because it looks like the flagship. Samsung has the A series now which has pretty much the same performance as the mini range. My wife had a s5 mini in the past and she was disappointed because it looked good but was nothing like the s5 that she has now in performance. It seems silly that they should add the mini in the mix when they already have a low range mid range and flagship already.
