It should be more resistant to scratches because anyways u have to use it with case when its a double-sided glass phone! But scratch is something that could happen any time like 100 times a day by just putting the phone on different surfaces. Well looks like this is something I did not realize (the specs of gorilla glass) while researching otherwise I definitely wouldn't have bought this at all.

I'm so furious by the low quality of this phone and don't think I'm guna buy this sh** in the future.
Ok! I did tons of test and research on this. And honestly was impressed by all the reviews out there on internet.
So have bought this from mid of May. Was pretty good until today that i just realized something really interesting. The glass used for S6 is DEFINITELY lower quality of my S3's glass !!!! Because.... I dropped my S3 like 100 times w/ case on the gravel/pavement/ all kinds if hard surfaces u can imagine, and the glass was still like the first day except the time it got dents by falling on some sharp gravels which is acceptable.
But this time!! S6 fell on grass with a protrctive case and when I was cleaning my phone saw all the 100 (not deep) scratches on its screen!!!! THIS IS INSANE!! I SIMPLY WASTED CRAZY AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR A PIECE OF CRAP!!

Wheww, finally got this phone, S6.Edge, which is the variant of S6. Both phones.should be the same except design so.I am gonna share my thought here as well. Went to a shop with my buddies to buy, and the S6 Edge I got is Green Emerald, really nice~looking. This is probably the best phone I have ever used. Ok I am gonna share my thoughts on using this phone here. (I am writing this using my S6 Edge, very easy to type compared to other phones). The phone is very beautiful, and I really mean it. The camera is very good, took some for testing. And it is kinda fun browsing sites on this double curved screen, some of the texts shown on very left and very right, that you have to scroll it left and right when reading articles. Also I have watched some music video, the sound quality and video quality are decent. Shoud not spend so much time waiting for Iron Man ver., cuz this one is good. Anyone here also using Green Emerald..？BTW I checked already and my camera is Sony one, not Sammy one. I wonder if IsoCell is better in taking better pics than Sony one. Another thing I would like to.point out is that everytime when I charge my phone for around 15~20 minutes, the phone feels really really hot. Does anyone else also have this kind of problem? In conclusion, this is the phone that deserves respect...because of what it is...and I am also waiting for Note 5, must be another exciting phone like this phone...

I have not had a more terrible phone & I'm not obsessed with running out and buying the latest phones every time a new one comes out. It's not been a full month since upgrading from a S3 to an S6. I toggled between the The Note & the S6 and now believe I should've gone with my gut feeling!
The S6 keeps freezing up when I'm in the middle of toggling through pages, watching videos, using camera, or simply entering my phone for use! I went to my local store to get help with the issue and the Rep told me that there's no way to remove battery or SD. Uh NO! WHo does that?!?! That's poor quality making for such reputable company-Samsung!
I've tried rebooting my phone time & time again, as the Rep suggested but that doesn't fix the issue at all.
Samsung, either fix the debugging issue, recall the phones and give us replacements, or, give us options to exchange or upgrade of our choice to that which is compatible within price range of make & model.
Get it together!!!! I only upgraded my make & model due to business transactions with Apps that run on my phone! It's important to keep business by continuing in integrity, IF YOU'RE GOING TO COMPETE!!
Fix the issue with your product & your customers!

Newer gorilla glass doesn't always mean better. Gorilla glass 2 is more resistant to shock but not to scratches. Gorilla glass 4 is more scratches proof but it also make the glass more brittle than its predessessor. Higher resistant to scratches equal to loss of durability and more brittleness. Cornings put more tension on the glass so to make it scratch resistant but the tension build up made it weaker.

If you love a camera phone then this is the best. Camera and display is outstanding. Battery backup is little less but ok.

This phone has been disappointing since day 1. Wireless charging is so flaky that the screen turning on and off seems to kick it out of charging mode. Constant need to reboot the phone to make the camera work. In very bright light, a dark streak down the screen on the left side. The phone gets hot to the touch doing simple tasks like checking GMail. Battery life so short it's making my Nexus 5 look attractive again. God awful Samsung bundled software. I wish I could go back and undo this purchase, it was the worst one I've ever made. Never again.

S5 a better phone.
S6 = No SD Card Slot + None removable Battery + Smaller Battery and usage time + Slipper Iphone Glass Back + Headphone Jack on the top + Apps not in A-Z but scattered and cant be sorted + Cover is not intergrated like S5
If I wanted an Apple I would have Bought an Apple. Think for yourself Samsung or this will be the last I buy and seriously not happy, I have my S5 with all my music on the 64GB card and about to use anywhere with water or the beach unlike my new worst phone.
Disappointed, also my Sister now has an apple due to the SD card missing. Great.

How can Samsung justify charging over $100 USD for 32GB increase in storage capacity. Samsung is outright ripping off it's customers by not having memory expansion slots in their new flagship phones. Move along folks there are better deals to be had. You wouldn't notice any difference, and this is coming from a long time Samsung user.

I can see that galaxy grand prime have 90% daily interest just 1% behind gs6. I have galaxy s6 but also bought grand prime too. I can tell you the availability of sdcard slot and removable battery is wonderful. The 5" screen is almost same size with gs6 despite not being quadhd. It consume less power with it lower spec and amazing 2600mah battery. I bought it as a spare phone while using my note 4 for work. My gs6 is still new and not much use except for camera and watching high quality 4k video.

I bought one new in April, the release date. It failed within 3 weeks, would not boot. Sent a replacement. It failed June 8, same problem. I do not need a phone that is unreliable, and I doubt that you do, either. Also, fingerprint recognition is dicey.Camera is good, but not worth the aggravation.
