[deleted post]You're comparing S5 which was released a year ago with m4. You might want to research into Exynous 7420 on S6 and snapdragon 615 on M4. Also you might want to pay attention to other specs, before posting a comment that well makes you look very immature and childish.

I had plan to buy iphone 6 but I changed my plan for galaxy s6. Who buys middle end specs phone in front of so advanced phone ? The prices are also cheaper of Samsung phones and small profit margin. My fantasy of iphone has been broken by galaxy s6.

Any pixel density over 300ppi, therefore, is only going to benefit a small minority of people with exceptionally good vision, or those who have their phones glued to their noses. All of these extra pixels are going to go largely unnoticed, and do very little other than waste battery life – something which is frustratingly poor in all smart phones.

I don’t mean this to discredit the amazing advances in technology, but now that most high end device manufacturers have reached the happy 300ppi, I would much rather they held back with this sort of thing and invested some time in better battery technology rather than wasting voltage on invisible pixels. Until we are walking around with smart phones strapped to our faces (Project Glass), I just can’t see[!] how these additional pixels are going to improve my over all user experience.

The money they invested could have gone to produced something worth while like radio.

I don't know why they put QHD resolution in a 5.1 inch display, humans can not see the difference between 1440 and 1080p which is and overtake itself for a 5 incher. Again it has no sense but make the phone expensive, slower and consume more battery. What's next? A smartwatch with QHD too??

Many will buy official ones from Samsung, i don't know if you took a look at them. They are really pretty this year.

And some people like me, will just get a transparent back cover from Samsung to keep the most of its design visible.

PS: Personnaly, when i'm home, my S5 is out of its window cover.

so what stays exposed? only the old frontal design. that's where they all look the same, when they are all covered up with rubber tpu cases or whatever, i know that the specs are getting better with time, no complains there.

People are like braking against evolution whereas 10 years ago, on a less than 240x240 phone resolution, we could barely fit 3 sentences of a SMS on a same screen. Or not even a real photo.

Apple made people believe in some eye limit, whereas actually the more pixels a screen is getting, the closer it gets to reality (and the more content, icons, details, etc.. you can get on it).

Mike, 09 Mar 2015I get a 1gb per month in my country with free whatsapp or f... moreThe idea that a 1440p screen will result in someone using too much data is a stretch, and a far one at that. Just set the resolution lower. It's like complaining that a new car goes 0-60 twice as fast as last years model but uses more gas to do it.

As far as some of those cons being pros for others (my opinion):

No memory slot - Good! The less slots the better, especially if it makes them ditch the 16GB model in favor of larger capacity. Plus, it helped them implement the super-fast UFS2.0 storage. Plus, Android sucks at implementing microSD cards (must have root and use tools to actually move apps to it).

Expensive 64 and 128 GB models - Hopefully the price gaps will be similar to how they were with 16/32/64. Maybe this means the USA will actually see a 64GB model (have we ever had a 64GB Galaxy device?). Maybe we will even get the 128GB model. While it is more expensive than microSD cards, it is a LOT faster, more reliable, and actually works with Android properly.

NoT waterproof - I don't care. They wasted weight, effort, time, cost, etc. on making it water-proof. A normal phone is water-proof enough for me.

Non-removable, smaller battery - Good! It's slimmer, lighter, more durable, unibody, etc. Batteries last longer than phones in my life (1.5 years between phones, approx.)

Headphone jack at the bottom - Fine by me, same as my last 2 phones. Works well cuz I put my phone in my pocket top-side first.

No (FM) radio - I don't care. I live in an area without any good FM stations. I subscribe to Pandora and SiriusXM. FM radio would be a wasted feature.

USB 3.0 to 2.0 change - Saves space and weight. The USB 3.0 speed would be nice from time to time, especially with the new UFS 2.0 storage, but the USB 2.0 standard works well enough for me since I rarely use it to transfer data. Plus, all the USB 2.0 docks and accessories will work with it.

I could keep going with other peoples' cons, but I won't.

A brand can only be remembered if it keeps a same signature. If it's different for every model, how can it be popular? That's marketing basics.

S6 is going to get an inferior module to your Z3 line and will get better reviews for its pictures quality. I'm not bragging, i'm just guessing because this happens to any flagship non-Sony getting a Sony sensor.

Anonymous, 09 Mar 2015This has got to be the most informative thing on this page,... moreMost informative? Nah. It's too subjective and opinionated. Most logical people will pretty much discount the post after reading the short list of 3 pro's that somehow didn't include screen, camera, storage, and ram...all of them class-leading.

Further discounting of the post is guaranteed when he talks about the front camera only taking 1080p even though it is capable of more and how the 1440p screen (which he calls 2k even though it's 2.5k, or QHD, or 1440p, but not 2k) will use more data for poor customers with data quotas.

And really, the cons for some poeple are pros for others, so it's just all opinion anyway when you claim something is a definite con even though it is seen as a pro for many.

More like I've seen the camera shoot-outs where the Z3 gets trounced by Galaxy S5, Note 4, iPhone 6, etc. Basically, when it's set to AUTO, the Z3 pics are crap. Lots of Sony users claim they can produce better photos with manual mode, which leads to people being like "You gotta be an amateur photographer to get the best pics from the Xperia's".
