I don't care that you think the iPhone6+ battery life is better than the S5. It's simply not, though it's damn close. And me using an iPhone would simply solidify my belief that its battery life is very similar to other flagship phones. I'm sure you don't think the Note 4 can take better pictures than the iPhone6+ either. I also bet you think your iPhone charges faster if you use an iPad charger.

Just look at this and stop being dumb please:

I always relate Samsung's Galaxy S - Note relation to Intel's Tick-Tock Strategy, Release New Flagship with Galaxy S and perfect it over the year with Note.

I really dislike how you changed the charging port from the s5 and the fact that the battery is no longer removable

And with LG preparing also their premium line, Samsung is surely revising its Note 5 plans to be even better.

It seems crazy that Samsung or Google hasn't implemented something similar. We shouldn't have to use FolderMount to accomplish something that should have plenty of development resources put into it at Google and Samsung. I think Google just wants to eliminate the extSD altogether, so why bend over backwards to make it work better. Maybe they make apps fail to move OBB files on purpose, haha!

I too noticed maybe 3 updates in total since i got it on release day here. Couldn't get any 32gb, they never existed here in stores (France).

That's a good idea for rooting, i'll wait for the lollipop update first to see what's new about it, else i will root and use your solution. Better write it down now :)

This should be by default in Android devices. Basically this merges both internal and external storage into 1 single memory storage for your apps.

With a bit of tweaking from Google or a smart manufacturer like Samsung this could be really efficient, like adding a microsd speed check before validating that option (too many people buy crap/slow/fake microsd card) and that would solve all those problems :

But really, my wife has a Note 10.1 2014 still and it seems like it didn't get very many updates at all. The only one she noticed was the KitKat one. If I were you, I'd root it and probably just stick with the stock ROM. The custom ROMs I tried were not really a big change from stock, but maybe there are some better ones now.

I had the 32GB model so I didn't REALLY need to use FolderMount, but I was using it on my 16GB S4 at the time so I just mirrored the same config to save space.

So it's just you and me conversing on here now. Feels like we hijacked the comments section.

Oh ya, Link2SD, that is the one that didn't work with Android 4.1 when I was trying it. Sadly, NTFS-mount wouldn't work in 4.1 either, so I couldn't plug my 2TB USB3.0 drive into my OTG adapter anymore :(

I think Android should be able to handle move-to-sd better. It's pretty sad that it's gone backwards in functionality since Android 2.X.

I haven't rooted my 10.1 2014 because i wanted to get the updates timely from Samsung at the beginning. That too low internal memory killed it as a gaming device in my opinion whatever people are saying for microsd.

I've drooled several times over ipad devices due to their big internal storage and many games exclusive or coming out first.. No need to be "religious" to see that.

PS: Kies got quite mature over the years since that time. It works quite well now.

And I hate how picky iOS is with taps. Like, if you move your finger 2 pixels to the side when u tap something, it doesn't count as a tap. I'm not that sloppy of a tapper, but I can't tell you how many times I've gone to slide a little setting-slider or tap something in iOS and it didn't like my tap. Android is much more realistic and user-friendly with tap-forgiveness or tap-threshold, whatever you wanna call it, even if it does have slower touch response-time.

Because i was studying several like that back in the time but they had all their fair share of problems so i gave up like Link2sd and don't remember what.

But that's totally the idea, without a big internal storage on a beast tablet/phone you can't have (real) fun. Or same 2-3 games installed until you finish them or get bored of them (not talking about shabby games for casual people).

Nova 3, Modern Combat Series, GTA3 and Chinatown Wars, Asphalt7 & 8, Dungeon Hunter 3/4 just to name a few i would have enjoyed installed in same time.

This phone looks just like the iPhone 6, of course leave it to samsucks to copy yet another apple design or idea.. I'm not a hater I like both but iOS is still better and more intuitive. Even with apples restrictions, and if they removed them iOS would blow any android device out of the water any day. You guys think apple people are bad with being brand wh**** but I've never seen anyone as bad as a Samsung brand wh****, those people are the absolute worse!!! And I work at cell phone retailer and trust me I deal with both types everyday.
