    Guys how's the battery timing of s6? And overall is it a good phone to buy or should i wait for A3 2017?

I have had a smartfone since SE P900 and don't ever recall after having 50 smartphones having out of RAM (memory) messages except My Nokia N97 and Nokia N8 displaying "Not enough memory to perform operation".

          I think your storage is full not RAM.

            Very disappointed to now find out after the purchase of the Samsung 6 that we cannot have an SD card or add memory. I have started to accumulate things I want to keep and now my phone is giving me all these stupid messages and telling me my ram is full etc. this should have been told by Samsung and optus who supplied the phone that this option was not available. I have had Samsung's for years and love them up until now. I have even converted people from Iphone to Samsung as they are so user friendly. I feel cheated this time.

                galaxy, 23 Dec 2016can the battery of S6 be replaced in case of any fault? and... moreBattery can be replace but it need certain tools to open the phone.
                As battery is non removable, meaning not like those phone with just a battery only.
                The battery come with wiring and need to open the phone in order to replace the battery.

                      vinay, 07 Jan 2017how long does it take to charge if fast charging is offFast charge mean when charging for 30 minutes, it can charge to 40% of the battery.

                      I always do fast charge in the morning, as i takes about 30 minutes to go out.
                      This give me an additional of 40% of battery life, never carry power bank.

                      Using the phone while on the power bank will cause the phone to heat up faster.

                          Lev, 08 Jan 2017I see a lot of posts with strange issues with "S6" like sma... moreThere is no such thins as fakes, as those who make the fakes cannot use the actual logo & other wording as Samsung will sue for copyright issues.

                          The issue is because it cannot be used in certain countries.
                          This is why handset manufacturer have to make several models for S6.

                          For example: S6
                          Select the "Specifications" on top and look at the top of the specification.
                          There are listed on which model be able to use to which countries.

                          Another sign to look out for is your country Authority on handset, there is a logo sticker to said that this model can be used &or accepted.
                          If there is no logo sticker, the chances is that it is a Export sets.
                          Export sets meaning not for local use, as no local Authority logo sticker.

                          There is nothing to do with what you had mentioned.
                          (S6 should have Exynos 7420 Octa, not sure it there is a Snapdragon 820 version)

                          For S5 i do have 2 different models.
                          S5 with 16GB and another with 32GB.
                          Both are different specification, as what you mentioned.
                          When updating on one version, i did use the same update on the other version.
                          Then one of the phone gone into serious problem as the screen & keys unable to control.
                          Upon doing factory reset, then the problem go away.
                          Another confirmation i had is that i play the game.
                          The game is working without problem on one model.
                          The other model is giving problem cause the screen issue.
                          The game developer then told me the specification is not the same.
                          These 2 proof that different versions do have different specifications.

                          If as what you said about the fakes, then i bought from 2 different Telco(s).
                          This mean that one Telco sold me a fakes.
                          Telco(s) do not sell fakes.
                          Should i make a complaint to the Authority...

                          Some of the issue is to buy the model not for local use....for Export, the staff will said.
                          Sometime it is due to the apps that cause the issue.
                          There is a need to know how well these apps are written.
                          Do you know ANYONE can create a APP without any experience & knowledge.

                                Lev, 08 Jan 2017I see a lot of posts with strange issues with "S6" like sma... moreI would say the exact same I have had none of these issues etc. The only thing against this beautiful smartphone is medium battery life but i can get thru day with battery save and lowering brightness to 60%.

                                Audio and camera are superb and screen super duper ,mine is Platinum Gold 64gb.

                                Did not like S7 it felt fat in the hand and heavy whereas S6 ultra slim feels light in hand.

                                We will have to see what delights S8 brings but love home button and sd card .

                                  I see a lot of posts with strange issues with "S6" like small memory, bad camera etc and that can only mean you have fake Samsung device (and there are a lot of those). I recommend you use some official Samsung app (like Samsung Kies) and connect your device to the PC to see if you have original Samsung device or not (if it is a fake then Kies will not recognize it). You can also use apps like CPU-Z from Play Store that shows you what chipset you have (S6 should have Exynos 7420 Octa, not sure it there is a Snapdragon 820 version, but definitely there is no Mediatek version - that is a fake). Just check if your device is an original one before you post negative comments.

                                    After 6 months with this phone I would definitely recommend it. Performance is great (I have Exynos version, android 6.0.1 stock), no freezing or similar issues (not once!), screen is simply superb, camera is without question one of the best features (on every event everybody says I should make photos since my camera is that good and better then theirs), build quality is superb (although phone is slippery and it took time to get used to that, not leaving it in places where my old phone would stay in place without any problems, this one just slips and falls), it fell to the ground 2 times, once from 1m on the wooden floor, second time from 1,1m on linoleum. Now there are no marking or scuffs on the phone, but something did come lose inside the phone in a place where camera is - when you shake the phone something rattles inside. Not a big issue, it is not that noticeable, never figured out what it exactly is since everything works fine, camera, flash and sensors. I would definitely recommend this phone. If you are on a budget and you like Samsung, then my "budget" Samsung recommendation would be A5 2016. My girlfriend has it (Exynos version), build quality is the same as my S6, great feel in the hand, screen is also very good, S6 camera is just a tad better in low light, but otherwise A5 2016 camera is one of the better ones out there, battery on A5 is better.

                                      Here is another battery usage feedback: 16% battery left, whole time on wifi, 1d 16hrs on battery, screen on 4hrs 35min, only 9 min of voice calls, a lot of viber messaging, some youtube watching, no gaming. Phone is now 6 months old.
