I have own the the Samsung Galaxy s6 since it came out. I love it. Oh and by the way who needs radio when you can get pandora for nothing and use it with no headphones or bluetooth it to your car. Personally I love all it has to offer and has great options in security that apple does not even offer.

btw, if there is radio, you still need ear-piece to act as antenna; do you know.
But many users have their own favorite songs and most use ear-piece.
Some Radio station do have advert and blah, blah, blah, by the commentary.

For Sony go for Xperia Z5 which is far more better.
For me, i am on Samsung phones, but i suggest you to go for Sony. (I did consider.)

FM Radio is it can broadcast any major events and is free and hardly uses any power.

That is after you bought, there is no FM radio.
Already S4 & S5 do not have FM radio.
The biggest headache that now Samsung know, they did not include SD slot for S6 only.
That they had decided to put back the SD slot for S7.
They did hear feedback from S6 users that why no SD slot for S6.
Maybe more of your kind of users (FM radio) give feedback, and who knows, S9 will have.

It's well known that FM radio consumes less batery power then listening radio over cell network. What will happen in case of emergency or disaster when cell network is not available. Also, what will happen if you traveling with the train and you are crossing different countries? Then you could spent a lot of money because of roaming. Or you will just shut down roaming. Also, FM radio is not some kind of 'super technology' it's just standard adopted long time ago. I'm considering selling my S6 because of absent of FM radio.
