Mi Mix 3 is yet to be announced, and the expected price is around 500$, which is nowhere a mid ranger device. I mentioned S6 edge is better than 2018 mid rangers.

Mi Max 2 is a mid ranger device packs SDM636, which is inferior to Exynos 7420 of S6 edge.

In terms of overall performance of chipsets,
SDM636 < Exynos 7420 < SDM710

But comparing the overall devices, S6 edge is a beast, a head turner, with superior display & the superb camera.

                    Stop getting tricked by business and major companies, if you are a Samsung/Apple lover that's ok , but don't lie to people saying that Xiaomi is a mid-range phones company when we all now that a Xiaomi device is currently number 1(mi mix 2s or Black Shark) on benchmarking, performance
                    btw I am not a Xiaomi lover , Id rather have a P20 pro because it fits me even though I know is far away from being the best smartphone

                          We purchased the SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 EDGE, used, and unlocked. It was going out the Country with my husband for his friend. he was going to Belize. When they went to turn the phone on, it will not work. No connection. do you have any suggestions. my husband was just going to bring the phone back, and return his friends money. we end up with a phone we never wanted, and we cannot get our money back.

                                    This 3 year old flagship device S6 edge is definitely better than any midrange devices of 2018.

                                    The QHD amoled display, the superior cameras and the super blaze CPU speed. The only problem is the battery backup. You'll need to charge it once daily if you are a light user, but a heavy gamer needs to charge it twice daily.
