m86k, 19 Apr 2015I can't wait to get mine, so how is it in real life? Not to... moreYep gold one is mostly chrome, so very shiny. Looks nice at first but i would be a little embarassed to use such a tacky looking phone...So i am getting the white one, clean and modern even if a little bland.

Hope Samsung can release a firmware update to address this issue . Surely its a a software issue .

Waiting for note 5 edge with dual curved display, dual 4G sim, at least 4 GB DDR4 RAM, 32/64 GB internal storage, micro sd card slot, 5.7 inch display with greater resolution and higher pixel density than s6 edge, s pen stylus with greater sensitivity and more awesome features, metal body with removable back cover ( if possible, if not glass-coating as in s6,s6 edge ), 4220 mAh battery with no heating issues ,micro USB 2.0 terminal, superfast charging , wireless charging system, Samsung pay, latest lollipop version at that time, Camera quality much improved than my note 4 with UHD video recording time 1 h , more improved front camera with LED flash, + all the features in my note 4 , fingerprint sensor as in s6 , improved s health system with some new features , golden colour, QHD display. Waiting to see how many of these wishes are fulfilled in note 5. World is waiting.

And i wanted to know if the "2sec" delay for displaying photos in true resolution means that photo appears like somewhat blurry first/low detailled, then it gets normal after 2sec ? Like a "2pass treatment" ?

There's no memory card slot for me... moreO my gosh get over the battery n expanf storage who caresfirstit was about time that stuff is gone frm cell phones who cares just buy more cloud place u have to get with times they stopped using that crap cause 2 percent use that crap and it's stupid the last time I have a expandabl storage was with the first cell I never got ans I never used that either get over it n if u cant keep your crying to yourself I mean really otherwise the phone is awesome and arguably the best phone on market right now except the battery replacement n a memory card get over it noone.does that anymore n if u have that much music or whatever transfer it or get a mp3 and use.that or whatever and if thats really a deal breaker it's just dumb and pretty much every phone has a thing u can plug In to where u charge the phone and lets u use al those things so nothing realy has changed n.the fast charger and wireless charger make up the slighty smaller battery so go play with the edge n tell me u hate it just saying it is awesome n if u still hate it so be it but thank god that plastic is gone this is my first non iphone phone but the one thing of this flagship is that my iphone would auto.sync with all my Apple products this doesnt but imbot wining about it so.get over it

Have been using the 6 edge for over a week now , here is my thoughts and short review of the phone :
Pro
- excellent camera performance , the best in all Samsung phone to date . Low light are one of the best in market , ois works like a charm and the selfie camera are so good in quality (best in market) . They both are very snappy and fast capturing .
- responsive interferface , but do suffer a bit of stagger time to time . Big improvment from all previous Samsung devices .
- fastest charging device ever
- perfect build quality and very luxurious . Compare to all Samsung devices this is yet the best and sturdy phone ever made , Stylish & classy design . Still can't stop looking at it .
- display is truley the best compare to all competitors
- finger print recognition is excellent which works 95% of the time , on par with iPhone 6 .
- loudspeakers has been improved dramatically compare to note edge , note 4 . the speaker produce lots of warmth and crisp that does not suffer distortion on loud volume . Very good job !!
Cons
- battery become better after a few cycle of charging , but still need improvement . Specially for heavy phone users . Last full day under normal usage , but not for heavy gaming or YouTube browsing .
- after taking a shot from the camera and if you want to quick browse through your photo , there is some what a second -2 second delay till the photo shows up in true resolution .
- still shows slight lag in the system , but as mentioned above its still the best compare to all Samsung models .
Conclusion :
Overall I'm totally satisfy with this phone ! yes there is a few cons with in the device , but which phone doesn't ? There is no doubt that the s6 edge is a big improvement compare to all devices in the past . It's not about how big the upgrade in its function , but it's about how much Samsung has corrected and fixed its downfall from previous generation . To that I give a big thumbs up as 80% of the issue from the past has been addressed , such as : finger print sensor now works like a charm without have to swipe down like previously , camera has a huge improvement in low light and fast shutter speed , loudspeaker now produce amazing sound , more sturdier and duarable build quality compare to all previous devices , improved responsiveness and better optimisation to its interface . This are all evidence of improvements . Yes a bigger battery or a replaceable battery will be appreciated , but is it enough to justifie the true decision of making the purchase ? Are you going to pass up on 10 things Samsung has improved over one thing they didn't ? Regards to sd card , this could mean bad or good to some people . I personally don't like sd card , as previous experience of losing all my files because something went wrong and corrupted the card . So I find them not reliable . The phone probably wont be everyone's liking (no phones are) , but I must give Samsung a big plaw on this one as they really take people's opinion and delivered a better experience to its users . Great job !
Hope this short and unprofessional review help others that are deciding for the purchase .

I bought my s6 edge yesterday and a way better than my previous phones but I have issue on the battery its easy to drain. Well normally if Im using the net regularly its really fast. But I think much faster to drain.

I have to say the S6 Edge (in platinum gold) is the best mobile I've had. Even better than my IPhone 6 plus!

So i had to cancel and re-preorder a Gold Edge 64gb instead and all 64gb Edge won't be available before end of the month here in FR.
It's even worse for 128gb models, not before end of may.

I have been using this device from the last week when it arrived in the market. As the design of this device is unique and sexy also the performance is just awesome & so smooth. I truly recommend this device.

Dont fast charge your S6 Edge device. Fasting charging is causing some units to create excessive heat; thus burning out the gyro and accello sensors. Play it safe, if you have to use the faster USB charger, only leave the unit on it for 10 min intervals or monitor the heat. If it get to warm, disconnect...Another option is to use a regular universal USB charge..It will take longer to charge, but wont break the phones sensors. It took me three phones in one week to find this out. Carriers will have to push a hot fix to control the rate of the charging or at the least fore warn consumers....
