Note Edge is (relatively) old and bigger.
S6 has a more conventional design and pocketable size.
S6 Edge takes a bit of Note Edge since it features some fonctions still even if it's not on par with Note Edge. But it's still added fonctions compared to standard S6.
Note Edge's design didn't please me when released but S6 Edge with its both curves on the contrary, just like a girl : love at first sight.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2015Working in a mobile phone store in the UK, and having used ... moreHaving had a hands on with both, whilst like the iPhone (all versions!), they are fragile, they looks superb - the Edge in particular, and the user experience is way way better and more aesthetically pleasing than both iOS and TouchWhiz on my (kitkat) Note 4.
I actually think the Edge the most lovely phone ever released, inc the M8/9.

1. ppl who vote for s6 may not be voting for s6 edge and vice versa. you can check the number of votes
2. Do you really believe in the rating given by ppl in gsmarena. there are no standards followed for giving any rating. you can give any rating to any mobile if you just like the mobile. So please stop even seeing the rating in gsm and watch the reviews from best youtubers( like MKBHD)

Maybe samsung is a good smart phone. But all mobiles of Sammy is very ugly. I do not f*** ugly *** at any cost. Just see all Sammy phones back panel.panel . all rear cameras swell like disgusting wounds.

the edge is definitely samsung in design while the s6 looks like an iphone. that's the main difference in my eyes.

Please help me as I'm confused. If the s6 and the s6 are identical other than in design, why aren't the votes for "features" and "performance" identical for each phone? To me this is just more proof of how the voting can be manipulate.

What is the main difference between s6 and s6 edge ? I mean yeh s6 edge have the curve screen , but just relize that the curve screen on s6 does not support app like my note edge . Then what is the purpose of S6 edge ? Might as well go for the s6 or stay with the note edge ?

Alright guys give me a final word what I should buy.
I'm looking for either a Note Edge or S6 Edge but I have totally confused as selecting a device.Although I would like S6 edge's camera,display,user interface & hardware performance,I would like a bigger display & a pen as well.That's why I'm unable to make a exact decision.So I would like to have your opinions to ensure which device I should buy.

Working in a mobile phone store in the UK, and having used both varieties of this device, I will give my opinion based on fact, not conjecture, like most of you.
Both varieties of this phone are truly dreadful, no amount of "premium quality build" will take away from this.
They feel fragile due to the glass on the front and the back, and the thickness. Thus will inevitably lead to many insurance claims, or repairs through Samsung (costing a fortune, no doubt.)
Three UK offer the S6 Edge starting at £49 per month with a £49 up front charge. I am unsure if this is just ridiculous pricing from Three or if Samsung have insisted that their prices are through the roof.
This handset, and the subsequent models, will ensure contract pricing in the UK is driven up. The mobile phone industry will stagnate due to lack of purchasing, as people will stick to their old handsets.
I use a Galaxy S5, and unless something changes, and soon, I will be keeping it for a long time. "Premium feel and cost" mobile phones are not what consumers want or need.

Why samsung put lolipop 5.0??? Why why why i hate my note 3 after update 5.0 .. i just hate my lolipop screen even ppl also hate dis... my next plan to buy s6edge but s6 also hv lolipop thts y good bye samsung... a thanks for the 5 years...

With its new processor wonder of it will make much differently ! Can't wait till the phone is out , then we can see some user experience . Both are lovely device , Samsung has been doing a marvellous job lately !

S6 is so much sexy and more easy to use.. but you, ll miss your S pen :)
