Yeah not waterproof, so you can't live with it because you live underwater.
What an idiotic complain.
It has already splash water protection and this is enough for normal people but mermaids and another fish stuff should away from this phone.

ok people talk that android lags and ios is very smooth and thats why iphone has the mediocres specs it has now imagine if you put the ios software on a s6 it will be a beast and if the iphone had android instead it will lag as hell and still the s6 doesnt lags with the software it has thats why samsung and other androids are way better than this ibend phone

Hmm, my TV, bluray player, amplifier, laptop and well everyother piece of electrical kit I own isn't Ingress Protection rated.
None of them a are useless.
When I bought a Sony TX5 camera years ago, I liked that I could film my daughter swimming to me in the pool the first time she 'left the wall'.
I desired the first sony phone that offered that level of IP rating, being on the net whilst in the bath, yay!
Just because we have started to have products that have this feature, doesn't make products without it 'useless'.
It seems like the haters' just gotta hate.
As each respective 'issue' is talked about on this thread in a real and meaningful way, new issues become the target.
I am guessing next it will be the glass back!
We don't know to what extent the design of this phone has been built for.
I believe for much of the design phase Samsung worked towards keeping Ingress Protection.
For all we know, it got a low rating and they just decided to drop the feature rather than get laughed at on forums because company X does it better.
One big issue with water 'proofed' phones/ any devices with touch screens; is the screen can only handle so much pressure before going 'spack'!
My Samsung Fit goes beserk in the shower as each drop that runs across the screen tells it to do something new.
For all we know the screen, being optimised for sensitivity (Nokias 920 added glove support a few years ago to its touch screen capability, other manufacturers had to follow suit), means these sensitive screens don't like rain running over them, and rather than risk having peoples files delete, ex-partners get gibberish messages etc.. they just don't advertise it as a feature.
until we hear complaints from light rain ruining these phones, I wouldn't worry.
Its not an advertised feature,.. but it hardly has its battery on the outside now does it!
If a 'tough phone' is a persons need; there will be IP rated models by Samsung. Or other manufacturers.
It does appear the S6 is aimed at competing against other flagships, and the features that most users actively want and need might not be ingress protection!
Your mileage may vary,. the marketplace is a cornucopia of delights!

One more thing is that Exynos version comes up with a new wolfson DAC and so would be ideal for music lovers..
About me, i usually download more flac files or mp3 with 320 kbps and so it takes more space and so i prefer minium 32 gb version. But just to be safe, i wanted to go to 64 gb if the price is right.
I live in India and i am not sure if i can preorder this s6 edge now. Please let me know if you find any site to preorder. Thanks.

I usually download some apps necessary for my life. I need Skype for calling, Candy Crush for killing boring time when I am free, and so on. People often deleted the unwanted apps when they are no longer in use.
Actually 16GB should be fairly enough to enjoy what a high end smartphone has to offer.
I don't save the photos I take to my phone; rather, I posted them on Facebook so I can delete them in my device.
One thing I really love about S6 is that "you only need to charge it for 10 minutes then you can use it the whole day while out.
I think you need to preorder should you plan to buy green. If you are going after white lik some of my friends, preordering isn't necessary.

I am also waiting for the launch of S6 edge green color. Personally i prefer 64Gb version as this size is a sweet spot like not so low and as well enough for media files. Pricing seems to be an another factor which makes me think twice. I just hope that samsung will reduce the pricing of these models. Good Luck!
