I upgraded to this from my S5. The S5 is far and away my favorite phone ever made. The S7 fell short of my expectations. Not terrible, but enough annoyances to make me want to go back to my S5.

Hi everyone, I'm planning to replace the battery so I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Polarcell battery?
What are your experiences with battery replacement, is it worth it?

Apara, 15 Feb 2021I bought Galaxy S7 soon after it was released in March 2016... moreVery good phone even till now. A good size phone that fits well in yr hands, pocket not forgetting it's still pretty fast, battery if well maintained still last one day with average use, and end of it all still looks good. I personally will keep mine till it breakdown. No reason to get rid of it. Screen color sill good and forget about those notches - waste of time. Notification light sill very visible. love it

I bought Galaxy S7 soon after it was released in March 2016. Love this phone and its features. It was the first version from Samsung to introduce brand new features. It will be 5 years soon, but I still love this phone and feel nostalgic to replace it.

These have been great phones we have run for 4 years, originally bought for full price which IIRC was about $700 each. Worth every penny because they have been extremely reliable and great performing phones over that time. Just now starting to get a bit clunky and we received an acceptable deal for S21 5G phones from Verizon costing a net $200 each. We'll see how the new phones go, the feature that will probably make the most difference is the huge increase in primary storage.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2020Amazing phone. No lag no heat. Just need know how to use it... moreWhere did you get your battery? Didn't find "genuine", only 3rd parties, all about 15-20euros (depending if tools are present or not); did replace and get ~2650mAh with AccuBattery after ~4 cycles but gotta wait as some people reports after one week, battery's dying (wtf..)! Let us know please!

Its a pretty good phone but I started having problems with the screen, it dimmed about 3/4 of the screen but it was still very visible, then after months of it the bottom part of the screen maybe 1/4-1/3 of the screen is completely black, the touch still works if you know where your touching, and to fix it you have to heat the phone with something like a hair dryer. I read online it is a fairly common problem, so id recommend staying away from this phone now that its older.

bought this second-hand for less than $100. not really bad! I was using a Samsung J2 Prime which is the same era as this flagship, and I prefer having a physical button and not those bezelless new stuff. Great performance for a 5 year old generation phone!
