Its been a month since i bought it. I have not more than 7 installed apps, which i had previously in a Sony Zl without probs. Allthough, the s7 edge has got stuck/blocked twice during the night when im not using it, not letting me even go to the main screen....completely stuck, i did reset it both times and it worked properly again. What samsung says? U gotta reset it to factory data/settings because "maybe" is a SW issue. Im not sure if you are willing to pay 600-800 USD for a cellphone in which u cannot trust. Besides these two issues...loving it

I wanted to love it. I don't. It doesn't live up to its "best phone on the market" hype. The battery life is less than my cheap Grand Prime. Samsung has per their own customersupport "removed" the option of applying downloaded fonts. Small thing? Yes but I like changing my fonts frequently and I could on my Grand Prime, Avant, S3 and S5. My new very expensive phone does less than my previous honestly which cost less that half the price. I'm sorry I got this item.

Did anyone notice that s7/edge lag when play nfs no limit? Mine exynos variant. First time its normal, buat after 5 to 10 races (especilly at the stage that have 4 cars race together), s7/edge lag or slow motion like. I dont know its happen to snapdragon variant or not cause i cant get the snapdragon variant here. i
'll wait for htc10 for comparison.

S7 based on Qualcomm 820 (US and China) easily overheats and restarts. Thats a big problem for those who want to run games or video calls.

in short....S7 is koenigsegg and please stop comparing it with your honda civic and prove your civic better because it has better mileage and low owenership cost. The S7 is for a niche segment of consumers and not meant for everybody. those of you who are calling names on the S7 most of them havent even used it and are comparing their current phones with samsung phones of the previous decade and proving theirs better..(so childish). samsung has evolved by a light year since then . dont curse it just because you cant afford it.

I have the iPhone 6S Plus. I like that all iPhones from the 4s to the current 6s models get the same software version and updates on the same day. Samsung specs looks much better on paper, but I was shocked how well the iPhone performs on speed.

Thinking of upgrading from s5 to s7. Apart from better auto focus and stabilisation,is 1080p video capture much better than s5 (which is already very good)?

You cleary don't own a S7 or if y... more I also upgraded from LG G2 to S7, and can certainly say that the battery life on S7 is worse compared to the G2 and heats rather quickly, as for me its the only flaw on S7 so far, other than that S7 is great device

Y'all better think first before buying s7 and s7 edge... Dont be fool by its over rated specs brah im telling y'all the more features the more trouble y'all get...think about it im serious y'all dont waste your money brahs...

I owned a Galaxy S5 before the S7. The S7 is a lot more beautiful. Still the S5 had a better WIFI connection. My S5 connected to carrier hotspot (FON-network) automatically, the S7 almost never does, even if I manually connect, the captive portail goes away after even being able to enter login/password. When I come home, the S7 regularly stays on 4G and does not 'jump' to the home WIFI, the S5 always flawlessly did...
Anybody has the same experience?

This was the first Samsung Galaxy S7 I bought and used as my main driver. And hell was I impressed... so worth the price, gives you many features, awesome display, very good speeds no lagg, 32 GB storage with expandables, Water proof (yes tried it myself, works++) and a very stable camera with the best pictures taken by a smartphone ever!
If you are wondering what flagship phone you should get.. Wonder no more! Get this phone!
Will probably use this phone a very long time it is really good!

Bought the s7 edge. Within the first few days a small spider web crack developed in the rounded portion of the glass near the volume buttons. The screen would not work properly from that point on. It seems either there is a design flaw on the rounded screen glass or my phone had a weak spot on the screen. Regardless, I sent the phone to Samsung. They told me tuff luck my problem...not theirs. I have purchased dozens of Samsung products over the years. During forementioned purchase, I bought three s7 edges. It was the last Samsung products I will ever buy.
