I've had my Galaxy S7 for 3 years. Got it new, as a discounted discontinued model at the AT&T store, where I have my phone plan. It replaced their old GoPhone, which was a stripped down J2. Other than having to conserve on useage to not have to charge the battery twice a day, it's fine. I plan on upgrading to some other "not brand new latest tech" model, because I just flat out don't have enough money to spend on bells and whistles that I obviously don't miss anyway. NFC, bluetooth, upgraded operating system, decent wifi connectivity, and not having too much of a battery drain. Not even convinced that USB-C is a good idea yet, at this point.

Mine has developed constant flickering and the bottom 1/3 of the screen is black. It's horrible and everyone seems to be complaining about the same thing. And I've only had it 1 1/2 years. DON'T buy it.

I have been searching on google about galaxy s7, and it says that they have stopped updating it so it's not good now. So why are they still selling it, is it not better you stop selling?

Getting this phone working on Verizon's network was infuriating! It's not CDMA compatible, so several features don't work such as no wi-fi calling, voicemail messages, most pound and star codes and the list goes on.

Barnslow, 16 Jun 2021I want to go for s7 please users is it fast in internet or ... moredon't buy ... SoC (14nm) outdated and not worth : overheat a lot and power hungry (fast battery draining) (i owned this device in the past)

go for poco x3 or oneplus nord n10 ... modern chipset (8nm), fast processor and power efficient !

Dropped it last week and the screen simply stopped working, no damage on the outside though. Now I had to order an used iPhone 7 for cheap, hope it will suffice for now. RIP ;_; you will be missed S7

                                Hi all!
I bought Samsung S7 in 2018 and it stills works fine! The only issue I have is the screen (same problem as somebody mentioned earlier) - 3/4 of the screen is transparent grey colour. I took it to the repair shop and the guy said I need to replace the screen at £120. What do you guys think - is it worth replacing the screen or invest this money in a new phone? I didn't really plan to buy a new phone but if I have to, my budget is about £400. Could you please recommend something in this price range?

It's got warmer last days and mine works fine but don't know for how long.
For the information also, this is all about G930F from EU, PL and I've stopped updating it at latest Nougat update due to possible planned obsolescence.
Think I'll go for S20FE or S21FE this is a bit too large but S10 is too expensive and hardly available new one.
However if I were sure that it is just the display faulty I would gladly replace it and use S7 for 2 - 3 more years.

Why does overheat a lot guys please help me😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😤😤😤😤😤🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤐🤐🤐

I'm absolutely convinced phones should not be updated because of the planned obsolence that killed my note one. This is how owning Samsungs is actually. They resemble mac computers in durability if treated with respect. I look forward to not having to spend anything on a new phone for at least four years. I use them a lot like everybody else. When obsolete I hope to use them as servers for testpurposes/ web sollution projects or extra phones/ childs phone. Thank you Samsung!

Aleksander, 01 May 2021Love this phone but unfortunately mine has issue of screen ... moreI have my s7 for a year and a half now but it's been in use since 2016 by my parents, about 2 or 3 months ago my screen also started to get the dark spots you described, they went away for a short time after i turned my screen brightness all the way down and then up again but that doesnt help, i think its something with the screen itself because the phone is fairly old already.
