My first few days were similar experience (I bought S7 in mid Oct). Phone used to warm up for no reason, unpredictable battery drain (on both 4G and Wifi), and i worried in similar way. Now it is better with battery lasting me a day (4G and Wifi always ON).

Five days ago i have purchased samung galaxy s7..but observe whenver i connected my mobile to wifi or mobile data is on, the mobile heated.. Please reply me who faced same issue or otherwise my product is faulty..please reply as i have only 2 days left for replacement?

After the nokia lumia is gone i switched to android and samsung s7 is my second phone, i bought it and i felt i wasted my money for this expensive phone but after i upgraded it to nougat i finally relieved and i proud of it, i recommended it to my friends already

S7 on Oreo will have the same Samsung Experience software as the Note8 which means it will be buttery smooth. Laggy and poor performing Touchwiz is now a thing of the past.
The S7 is better than current Xperia phones, let alone a 3-year old iPhone.

I am going to buy a new... moreIt is a very confusing options, the s7 clearly wins in the specifications such as screan size, waterproof design, better selfy camera however what is concerning you is concerning me too, i can guarantee the iPhone SE will perform perfectly without any issues for even more than 4 years, but i cant do the same for the s7 even for months especially after it receives Android Oreo, when the Galaxy s6 received Android Marshmallow there were plenty complaints started, but now after Nougat it became deadly useless, this is a common Samsung issue through centuries.
My suggestion is find more options while you actually can easily, make your searches wider.

best phone ever, I would recommend anyone to choose this smartest phone, battery timing is perfect, sensors are priceless. auto adjustment of brightness is now real time.

Just updated my S7 with October security patch. I've read that the November security update is rolling out now for US S7 variants.
Ali Bashir, we don't need Android 7.1 because Android 7.0 on the S7 is more advanced than stock Android 7.1. Also, the long wait for updates is worth it because Samsung's version of Android is very stable and polished, unlike stock Android which is full of bugs.

Its good phone but performance and its tiny display?? N...if you want to browse web and play games SE is so small its annoying.

it has a sturdy feel and battery life is good above average for heavy users.
