Experiance 8.1 UI uses more ram. 4GB RAM isnt enough to that. Free space of ram of S8 4GB ram version is about 1.3GB without running any 3rd party app ... my S6 also got 1.2GB free space of ram after it's 2nd update (nougate) .. it is laggy now.cant use lot of apps. This new experiamce UI isn't suitable to 4GB ram versions. Sometimes i have lagging problen in S8 when i slide up menu.. do you understand now?

But I have a Pixel launcher setup on my S7 using Nova Launcher with Pixel icons, Pixel 2 dock with the Google search bar at bottom of the dock below the dock icons, a Pixel 2 live wallpaper, a Pixel theme downloaded from the Samsung Themes store, a Pixel app drawer and "Another Widget" which simulates the new Pixel 2 Calendar/Weather widget. My S7 looks exactly like a Pixel 2, even more beautiful than the Pixel 2 because I've customized and adjusted all aspects of the UI for a more clean and coherent look.

AnonD-257122, 26 Oct 2017There's a thing called tempered glass which protects your s... moreTempered glass just don't fit well on curved screen of s7. Those which fits looks plain ugly as it's much smaller in the sides. Plus it cause way to many touch issues. My pic will be 360 degree screen protector and a raised lip case like spigen. It will add some bulk but I can use my phone much light heartedly.

As per most reviewers samsung experience is even lighter than Grace ux which s7 uses. It will definitely come to s7 with oreo update. I haven't used s8 personally but most reviews say it's working good. Let's wait and see of they fix the bugs even more on newer ui. I don't want bone stock ui though it's fast and completely featureless.

AnonD-666414, 28 Oct 2017I saw lot of reviews of Samsung midrange devices this year.... moreThere is a big difference between lag and slow animations. Transition animation is long in all samsung ui. Even in s7 you can call it slow but not laggy. Samsung was never known for excellent vfm proposition so they never put high-end specs in it's mid/ budget range like it's Chinese competitors but after using s7 I can safely say samsung ui is much much more stable than other customised ui and much useful than stock ui. I was a fan of stock ui but now I will stick to Samsung's ui for a while. Afterall I am a regular consumer not a developer or enthusiast. Getting some features without installing half baked 3rd party apps is much better.i hope samsung brings samsung experience asap to s7. It looks fricking cool.

Mine is exynos version with dual sim. I never used my phone on Qhd as it doesn't make any diff in normal use except vr on such small screen. i dont use always on display as my display almost always remains on. but android standby drain is high since in whole day normal usage will give you 4/5 hours screen on time but continuous usage sill give you 1more hour sot which is weird. overall this phone justifies my need completely. tinker with settings it will surely give you more sot.
