Im planning to buy a new phone and im choosing between s7 edge and s8. Any opinions about these 2 phones. I know some of you will suggest s8 since its new but i found the specs of s7 edge is not that far from s8. Any opinions please. Thanks

Hi there I'm using this phone from more than 1 year but haven't faced any kind of problem with it till now.... this phone have best of the best camera of 2017... no lag issue everthing is just working smooth

Great phone with a big big big display prolem ( the famous pink line ) its just question of time and there's no fix for this problem ..... its so sad .

Even the Samsung Service Center people are not able to find out the root cause of the problem. Luckily my device is still under warranty. My complaint has been escalated to higher level.

Galaxy S7 Edge is indeed a good phone. I have been using it for many months. But its camera has certain issues. Color Inaccuracy, Over Saturated colors, Blurred pictures, grainy pictures even with little zoom-in are the main issues. Especially in day light photography. Even a lower end Samsung camera gives better pictures. I am telling you this from my personal experience. And Samsung Service Center people are not good at handling customer complaints.
So, please check the camera thoroughly before making purchase. And go for higher built in memory. Good luck...

But the issue is still unresolved. And it has latest OS version. They are not able to find out the root cause. Many links available on the internet indicate that this is an OS issue and not hardware...

Anonymous, 24 Oct 2017Same here.. :-(Sucks! The edge idea is not good. It's impossible to keep a screen protector on it. I've gone through 3 in 3 months. The edges wo t stay down. Very disappointed.
