Had mine for a few weeks now . It replaced a Huewei g7+ that i was very happy with but whos battery was fading after 2yrs of trouble free service .
I had planned to get an A7 but was offered the s7 edge at a price i couldnt refuse .
To date i am very impressed . Both cameras are excellent , producing crisp clear photos even in challenging lighting conditions . I purchased this phone while on holidays and find myself using the phone camera in place of my DSLR alot of the time !
The s7edge has the same sized screen as my g7+ but in a smaller overall package . The brightness and clarity of the screen is very impressive .
Battery life is good but to be honest the Huawei was better , it still has enough juice to get me through a day of very heavey use and the fast charge function is very handy .
Problems ? The fingerprint reader isn't as fast or accurate as the Huawei , often taking several atempts to open the phone .
The power button is easy to accidentally press when holding the phone in your left hand and adjusting the volume with your thumb. Maybe it's my hand size , but when holding the phone in this manner my index finger rests on the power button and any presure will turn off the screen .
The all glass design is possibly a bit fragile , a friend who brought one when they were first released , cracked the back galss on his in short order . I got a cheap silcone cover for mine that doesn't detract from the styling too much and lessens my level of parranoia !
Overall i love the phone and would very highly recomend it and if you look around you can pick one up for a very good price .
One other problem . It may be obvious . But i haven't worked out how to enable spell check as yet !

I would not recommend buying this phone, the glass is very fragile..
Mine has the second broken glass, renewed 3 months ago :((

THey try to gain some time until S9 arrives and I fear they will only update S8 models with Oreo.. Just think about actual Android is 7.0.. 7.11 is promised, delayed delayed... I don't like this kind of game played by Sammy.

There is a much difference in both phone usage with case of features where u will feel s7 edge is a good one as me using s7 edge while my friend using s6 edge plus

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2017no problem here running android 7.. u are full of sh...Nougat running well in my s7 edge for 8 month no problem. Did you do factory reset after nougat update? Because after ota update factory reser is necessary
