Anonymous, 28 Dec 2016Restart phone once a week and there's no lag :) my s7 edge ... moreNa, lag is not going away unless it is factory reset which not going to do(it is a pain).
Restarted the device and even cleared the cache. But lagg problem still remains.
I am happy that at-least it not draining battery or getting switched off between work as it used to with S7 or older models.

glacial silver, 26 Dec 2016how can I perform a Hard Reset for this device? after the ... moreBoot into recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up, Home and Power keys at the same time. Wipe cache partition and then factory reset. Hope it helps.

how can I perform a Hard Reset for this device?
after the December Software update my s7 edge became laggy and it freezes up.
I was playing COC and doing FB at the same time when the screen froze.

Which samsung phone would you recommend that is around 5.7 inches I wouldn't go for a device under 5.5 thanks in advance!!

Finally a phone that Samsung Fans deserve after a long list of disappointments.
I was glad to see the improvement of quality in S7 Edge over the crappy S7. Don't know what SAMSUNG did either with its software or hardware but finally provided a phone that is giving stable battery life since the day 1 to till date unlike the S7 or S6 series which faced lot of problems regarding the draining of batteries.
S7 Edge is still laggy and becomes pain in long run. But, it will not switch off on its own for no reason and will provide a stable and expected battery life. SASUNG has come half way in improving its tech. Users must understand and respect that.
SAMSUNG job well done :)
Hope you improve it further and provide lag free phone(on long run) with S8 series.

Phone's glass front and back are very sensitive. I wanted to carry this classy phone in pocket using just cover sticker to protect it- BAD IDEA. Had a shattered camera glass and a tiny rear glass crack (fell from less than 1 metre height to wooden floor). Had to pay for whole camera system and rear cover replacement (galaxy care does not cover that).
So, to sum up- If You buy it, You better protect it!!!

I drop my phone 2 feet high my screen crack wtf dont have extra money to repair it damn wish ther is only glass replacement instead of whole screen
