the mobile repair shops wont touch samsung phones because of the screens. Ive tried with other samsung phone and they wouldnt repair it. Dont know why...

Anyways if you have to pay out of pocket you might as well get it repaired at some third party mobile repair shop where it will cost a lot less than 350 euro.

S7edgeuser, 06 May 2018Why didnt you take it to service centre with you only using... moreThey probably bought from a grey market dealer which has no official Samsung recognized warranty. Just 7-day shop warranty so after the first week you're on your own!

According to andoid pit s7 edge oreo is rolling out to users in uk. But it will take time to get to everyone. Il keep checking over the coming days.

Never buy Samsung edges phones theres a lot of issue ( pink purple lines ... death pixels ... red tint ... )

It will automatically take you to test mode where you can pretty much test everything on your phone including the proximity sensor.

I just noticed when on a call if i put my hand over the screen it turns black. When i take my hand away the screen lights up.

nick, 03 May 2018my s7 edge 3 months old- proximity senzor stop working.i ha... moreWhen on a call and on loud speaker the screen stays on . When i put it to my ear screen turns off. There used to be a settings called turn off screen during call which was ticked. So i would untick it so screen stays on during calls. But that isnt tbere anymore. It only has keep screen on or off when in pocket. Has anyone else noticed this?
