For those having battery drain ..this worked for me ...first wipe cache partition in recovery. Then change your launcher from touchwiz to nova launcher then disable chrome ...then finally use power saver mid ..or change your display to FHD and disable always on display..make sure you disable Samsung health

In less than one year July 2017 (One year warranty supposed to be October 2017), i dropped my phone and the right hand corner shattered even with the expensive screen protector , i went to Westgate Samsung and was told to pay $500 to change the Glass and now a pink line appearing on the windscreen for almost 5 months now.
Before the one yr , there was supoosed to be under warranty, so what service that Samsung offered for warranty , Is charging like daylight robbery.
So unsatifactory service !!!!

I bought this phone 1.5 years ago and it worked pretty well and i was satisfied with it but today a pink line appeared on my screen which was very disappointing to me because i took really good care of it and still looks as good as new.
I have always advocated for Samsung and i was going to go for more but today i will call it the end of and i am never going for samsung again.
People... no matter how much you take care of your Samsung its LED will cheat you...

The processor in s7 and s7 edge should be more power saving than a mid range phone though I use the fhd choice to save battery . But my j7 prime battery is better though it is 3300 whereas s7 edge is 3600 but it is discharging faster after the latest nogat 7.0 update. please I want this problem to be resolved in a new update. The system takes 9 giga of the 32 giga of the storage.. Why is that? . It makes the phone heavy and loaded with characteristic not that necessary. If someone wants features he can download apps. Leave people choose. Please we want an update to make the battery performance great especially that it is a big battery with a flagship processor which should help to save more power of the battery. Thanks in advance for your help Samsung.

Please I have a Verizon s7 edge that runs on 7.0. And I have always updated the monthly security patches. But recently, when I touched on update, it keeps giving me a page with this message
"Webpage not available
The webpage at https://cdn.vzwdm.com/images/CheckNew_Android8.0Oreo_Planning.jpg could not be loaded because:
net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET'"
Please can anyone tell me if his has the same problem or what my be the reason?

Please Samsung. The battery in the previous update was much better than now. It is very important to send an update especially for the battery to be better because it is discharging very quickly though I use the mid battery saving mode and my phone is new. I bought it 4 days ago. Before the new update the battery was very good .
This update is really important. I bought the s7 edge because of its big battery.

AnonD-754407, 24 Apr 2018I bought a Samsung S7 edge in December 2016 in India. After... morehi.. As per my best knowledge... In India, phones are assembled not purely manufactured in India.
Chip manufacturing unit in China and Most of the phone now a days selling this chip set.
Most of the parts are importing from china (Chip-charger-headphone-display etc). For Tax relaxation Big company like Samsung putting there plant in India so that they can save the money and work easily with Government.
But they selling these phones as with the name pasted Manufacture in India.
For building a chip making plant is very tough in India. Because the India government norms are very hard to maintain for building a chip plant. And for buil the Chip factory plant the cost is very very huge i mean really huge, even apple is also using Samsung chio and memory in his phones.
And secondly, Samsung is also a chip maker. They using his own processor with the name of EXNOS processor in flagship phones. Because they want to make profit and encourage his product in Asian market.
Even S7edge Exnos processor is well performed than snapdragon and its still worked good.

I wish that Samsung send an update to calibrate the colors as they did with note 5. The white and other colors in note 5 are more accurate and better.
But I prefer s7 because the battery, processor and ram management are better
