The galaxy s8 plus is a great phone just wish the black bars in the camera app would be smaller or not there at all and I sjould be able to lower the resolution to get a full screen

Can anyone answer this question with any certainty please.
Ok, if I charge my phone up to 100% (green indicator light on to tell you it's fully charged) and I keep the charger plugged into the phone whilst playing games. Does this have any negative impact on the battery? Will the power I'm using to play the game come directly from the charger and bypass the battery?
The reason for asking is that this method might be a good way of prolonging the batteries life (less charging) by using your phone to play games etc with charger plugged in when the battery is 100% fully charged.

wI am using s8+ for last 1 month. My experience is it is better then s7 edge. But I am very much disappointed for its earpiece speaker. It's vibrate when calling to other (it was not in s7 edge and note 5). Also when I play a music its back glass vibrate seriously. I asked it to samsung customar care they told me it is normal. But for me it's not normal. I am thinking to seal the phone and buy another brand.

Too long and skinny - crazy aspect ratio.
Please bring about a new note, but not with this aspect ratio

As for the memory, 64GB onboard with a micro SD slot.

I'm an I phone convert. Changed to galaxy alpha 2 years ago. Brilliant phone and lasted the whole 2 years with like 1 minor fault in the end. Got my s8 yesterday. 1st impressions seriously impressed. It's such a good phone for the 1st time ever I will be treating it to a case. Rite ppl you want an honest review? The phone is s*it hot. Technically it is amazing yet it's a phone that is super advanced yet delivers all the basic features without complication. If you are due an upgrade it's a no brained u take the s8. For a 2 year contract u want a phone to be happy with. It will.cost more but again for 2 years it's worth having something decent. Hope this helps.

It is like this for me Samsung galaxy S8 is formula 1 of smart phones!
No offense to haters but this phone is best ever i was shivering when baying it seriously because i did my research and new what cool things are in store with this phone!
In general Samsung is my favorite when baying but this phone blown me away honestly, graphics,for you security there are fingerprints and eye scanner,so beautiful design of it and not to mention,incredibly realistic pictures when you take them,for gamer as i am dream come true! i mean i have pretty good computer but this phone i dear to say is better!
Again have to be honest it has been a while since i bought the phone and i am kinda out of it and now need to learn again but i swear it is worth it!

The Exynos version of this device is at least 30% weaker than the Snapdragon version in terms of graphics put on top of that the low storage for the price and you got yourself a typical Samsung device.

So watching 16:9 videos u will get black bars on the left and right as the ratio is ultra wide screen vs the normal widescreen. But u do have a toggle to make it fullscreen. So u lose come image real estate on top n bottom when full screen but just a bit as the image is stretched out. Future content is going ultra wide screen 18 or 18.5 so this is why samsung is doing this. But holding it in one hand and texting is absolutely fine even for the s8+. Even iphone 8 n next lg is following this ratio so it looks to be a trend. U will know if its a phone from 2017 onwards by the tall screen lol
