very nice phone, I can use it in the rain or in the shower. I can also use it underwater. I have a selfie with a great white shark the camera is awesome!!! oh yeah!

As for me after i done the steps no more red tint for me so i dont think its hardware issue. Best of luck bro.

Hahaha! Look at s8 plus. I think Samsung is just trying to prove that 5.1=5.8 and 5.5=6.2. Hehe any ways s8 plus is nice phone. Almost flawless. But I hate those black bars when playing videos or games. Samsung did a very bad job by going for wierd 18:5:9 aspect ratio. It kills the true purpose of having a big screen. I hope samsung will go for standard aspect ratio for. But it can't gonna happen. Very bad samsung. Also I was expecting dual cameras. But anyways this single camera us still fantastic still better then most of it's competition.

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2017This phone would have been perfect if Samsung maintained th... moreBetter buy the Samsung C9 Pro or the Samsung A9 Pro (both 6.0" screens in standard 16:9 aspect ratio) if you are after a large screen experience because the S8+ screen truly does not deliver (such a waste of high resolution!). There is absolutely insignificant increase in size when viewing photos, videos or playing games. All you get are bragging rights you have a monstrous 6.2" which actually displays photos, videos and games, smaller than standard 6.0" phones in 16:9 aspect ratio.

This phone would have been perfect if Samsung maintained the same 16:9 aspect ratio. The 6.2" screen size would have made for a truly more pleasant reading experience being wider, and would have resulted to larger display of photos and videos. As it is, a 6.2" screen size in a stupid 18.5:9 aspect ratio is wasting a lot of space up and bottom of the screen (portrait) or left and right (landscape) for most applications where are larger screen size is supposed to result to better enjoyment (bigger looking photos, videos, game play). This stupidity is defeating the purpose of the larger screen in the first place. The increased magnification in the size of displayed photos and played videos becomes practically insignificant, defeating the MAIN PURPOSE of why users want A BIGGER SCREEN in the first place. Just plain stupid decision by Samsung just so the phone will be easier to hold with one hand. Hey, if I want to hold a phone with one hand, I am getting a 5.0 - 5.5" phone. If I want to truly enjoy a bigger screen, I'd rather get a 6.0" phone with the usual 16:9 aspect ratio. At least, that screen size upgrade will not go to waste (black bars) and will truly make photos, videos and games appear larger while making reading news and social media, a lot more pleasant to read.

-go settings to display to screen mode
-select adaptive display tick on advance option
-scroll below enter screen edge colour balance
-adjust one column left towards cool and apply device will restart will solve it
I dont think its a hardware issue as can be resolved like this. I think i got the early batch s8+ so i noticed the red edges. U have to download an update to do this.
