Yeah, best to keep some protection on the phone at least. Which is a shame because the design of the phone is gorgeous but speaking from experience the phone does break more easily than you would think without protection if you do drop it (although the glass cracks rather than shatters ) it's very costly to fix if using a Samsung repair centre (over £200 UK ($260 US) As they have to replace the Display as well as the screen.

Although I love this phone, it is basically a glass sandwich and Gorilla glass is good but its certainly not unbreakable. . If you drop this phone on a hard surface or if it lands awkwardly there is a good chance it would break.
I do use the phone without a screen protector though and the phone has no visual scratches on the surface, its pretty durable. ...in saying that I use a folio case which protects the screen when in my pocket for example. If you are going to use this phone completely unprotected and for example walk around with it in your pocket that is full of coins or keys then hey, you are probably going to be living on the edge and may well end up disappointed. You are going to have to be very very careful.
Just dont be that guy that comes back and posts on forums if things do go wrong and it breaks E.g "OMG Worst phone EVER, I hate samsung blah blah blah" ..... ..

Still working like new, still getting 4-5 hours screen on time, i will replace its battery next year.. this phone is going to stay with me forever, i will never sell it..

How may i download ... moreI just went into settings and clicked on 'Software Update' then 'Download and Install'
If you have already tried that then you could try downloading via Samsung's 'ODIN' tool. Download Odin and then flash the corrrect and most recent firmware for your phone. I've never tried ODIN myself so I'm not the best person to guide you through this process. There are guides out there or perhaps some fellow S8 Plus owner will help you with the process if needed.
