Hi All Sumsumg users
If u plan to purchase a Samsung S8+ please keep the following in mind.
Samsung South Africa do not care about u if you damage the display by accident. I purchase one on Sat 29 April 2017, i also add a extra safety screen and a monster back cover cost me R1000 extra for more protection. Yesterday i bend forward and there it happend my phone fall out of my pocket at a height of less that 600 mm. It will cost you money to fix your phone.

I will not buy this phone only because of for same old version RAM and same camera other things is all okay, and nothing much different than galaxy s7 edge

after using the S8+ for a few days now i gotta say it feels like im using S7 Edge....except for the home button(which you can hard press to turn on the screen)...

lets take for example,lets say A makes $500 per month.do you think its wise for A to buy a $100,000 car?no,why?because he will be in debt.
same goes for phones,lets say B makes $300 per month. you think B should get a $1000 phone?
and you said "many people have to count every penny so."
my question is if they have to count every PENNY then why they whining whining and more whining about the S8+???

My boyfriend and I bought Samsung S8+ at the same time. When I held both devices, I noticed his' was a little reddish compared to mine. I am aware of the issue and did not mention it to him since I saw that there will be an update. I have a very keen eye when it comes to color. When the update arrived the other day. I quickly fixed his phone and made the color same as mine. And it was great! Plus they added the EDGE color adjustments also because I noticed mine had a little red tint on the edges. Now WHITE is really WHITE. This phone is AMAZING! Great display, great camera. I held it side by side to my s7 edge. This looks more sophisticated. It doesn't lag. No automatic shutting down. It doesnt get hot even though I use it outside combined with the weather of DUBAI! LOL I got a matte spiggen case and Scratch proof/automatic heal screen protector.

Just recently got this and I could not be happier. The gaming experience is by far the best I have seen in a long time. Not one issue. 10/10 Samsung.

Too long and skinny.
Cant get use to the aspect ratio.

I'm not sure what people are talking about with "the red screen issues," as I've encountered no such problem. The screen is beautiful, the device runs quickly and I've had no hiccups thus far. The battery life is excellent (I'm running the phone at 1080p, as it still looks great and uses less battery). The cameras are excellent. I'm not a fan of the speaker/headphone jack placement on the bottom, as they can get in the way when I'm playing games with both hands. All in all, it's an excellent phone and I highly recommend it!
