I have an S8 and I really appreciate it's battery, I am extremely dissatisfied on the S8+ , because it's bigger, yet has a smaller battery, the 835 could be more energy efficient, but it know has a bigger screen to feed, so overall it's a downgrade (and when I company claims energy efficiency, they calculate it on a standard task, without considering that the new chip has extra power, that will consume extra energy on demanding tasks, the battery will rank a 70+ hours for the S8 and 80+ for the S8+,a long way till the nearly 100hs the S7 edge had)... A couple of mm thicker wouldn't hurt anyone, apart from the iPhone junkies, who believe that 7.9 is final frontier for premium phones...

but why it is not note 8 , samsung made s8 which is enough the next big deal should be
note 8 as both phones s8 and s8+ are idiotically with the exception on screen size

Different screen aspect ratio than the S8 (1440x2560 px. vs. 1440x2960 px.)?
I suposse is 1440x2560 px. because is 16:9.

4000 pixels wide and 3000 pixels tall is a 12 megapixel photo that more than enough

It should be 3500Mah for S8 and 4000Mah for S8+.

Don't worry about the ram. 4gb is still more then enoug, 6gb would be a waste on devices at the moment. Making devices with 6gb is just showing of since the phone could never use full capacity. There would be no difference between a 6gb and 4gb at the moment. It would only suck battery life.
We have seen many examples off devices with better battery endurance with smaller batteries. A 3500mah can be better then a 4000mah. Device has to be tested before we can talk about that.
The same goes for megapixels, a higher megapixel doesnt always mean the pictures are of better quality.
The best thing about this device is the screen ratio, this is also the new hype. A small phone with big screen :)

Only 4GB, only 3500mAh battery at 6.2, when S7Edge got 3600mAh.
The location/form of fingerprint sensor, really unpractical and ugly.
But consider all that, will be still considered a top 2 Flag ship of the year 17. So i will buy it :(

I use to own LG flex. Samsung is trying to follow suit. I am interested in what it will look like. But I am not really sold on the whole galaxy S8 plus. Seems like Samsung is trying to save face. Hope these phones don't go BOOM.
