The difference is that the bezels get way smaller and the home button will be removed from the front - freeing up even more space to increase the screen size. Nobody is going to need bigger pockets for these phones.

The thing that so many commentors seem to fail to realize: The S8's are going to be the same physical size as the S7's. By drastically reducing the size of the bezels, the S8's will be able to pack 5.7" and 6.2" screens without making the phones bigger than the S7's.
I'll be interested to see if they do the rumored Galaxy X - the phone with the foldable screen. Regardless, as long as they offer 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage + SD card, and have all the other things that GSM currently lists here, the S8 should be a huge success. The time when Sammy can get away with minimal specs has passed. Go big or go home!

Yes, sure ... Samsung has sold very minimal units of its Note series or the S7 Edge. A tremendous failure of sales ... Phones with 4.7'' displays like the Xperia z5 compact, show which is the key to success! Haha !

This phone is going to be amazing. Eight gigabytes of RAM sounds revolutionary and the Snapdragon 835 processor is just beautiful. When this phone comes out, I'm gonna buy it immediately!

My heart is fallen love with this phone please lauch as soon as possible with dual sim , glossy black color, separate micro sd card slot, over 4000amah battery with other latest features as soon as possible. Sammy don''t let try to cover loses of Note 7 devices from this phone. release phone as low as you can. then only you can have good sales and huge market share. available this phone in Sri Lanka ASAP. hope this will launch in MWC 2017.

Samsung obviously loves to make their flagships bigger and bigger.. no wonder by 2020, we might be seeing a 7"-7.5" Samsung Galaxy Edge with 4K displays and a 12GB RAM. Hahaha!
