Samsung S8+ and the Note 8 both deserved the Android 10 update but it won't happen so that more & more people buy their latest offerings. But I'm going to keep my S8+ as long as possible as it's still a wonderful device. They're going to slow down the monthly updates too.

I Love the screen and even better its free of any distracting notches or punch holes. To upgrade in many ways would be huge step back... and not having Android 10 will not have a huge impact on my life.

                  I can more than live with the S8 plus for now. Happy days :)

                    bram, 02 Nov 2019is s8+ or s9 to have? S9 or S9+ if the comparison is between the S8+ & S9 then the former is better & cheaper with almost the same features except that the S9 will be updated to Android 10. I'm using the S8+ and it's one the best I've used so far.

                            Still rocking on my S8+ it is still so fast & responsive may not get the Android 10 update which hurts but still it's much better than the others no notch or punch hole, beautiful design with superb camera. Will keep it for another year or so.

                                    Anonymous, 30 Oct 2019And you can keep it in upto 1.5 meters for 30 minutes Exactly after 30 minutes under water the opens a valve that lets water flush inside the phone killing it instantly. You should remove the phone from water after 30 minutes for 5 seconds and then return again

                                        But if it has water damage, like all phone makers, even if it's water resistant, water damage is not covered by warranty
