Started with a Samsung S1 then moved to a Note 2 then Note 5 and finally an S8+. These Samsung phones only lasts for 2 years. After doing an OS upgrade my S8+'s screen looks faded. Then it starter not to read the SIM card slot. I did a factory reset and it fixed the LCD issue. The SIM issue is still there. This will be the end of my loyalty for Samsung, not just because they don't last. It also because they don't offer the features I need anymore, the 3.5mm jack and SD card slot. Moving on to other brands.

... moreI agree, these are no real game changing advances in the technology and from a personal point of view I can no longer justify constantly upgrading from one year to the next. It's just very slight changes here and there and as ive got older and flagship models have become far more expensive I'm losing the desire I had to have 'the next BIG thing'
The S8 Plus does all I want it to do. The phone has performed well beyond my expectations and is still performing well to this day since I bought the phone at launch.

Nope manufacturers upgrading every flagship model only a little bit on every side. ex. Processor. Qualcomm Snapdragon company have enough capability to give you double the power than 845 but they won't

The S8 Plus is still a great phone and I cant see any real justification for going for the S9 Plus. I would wait but that's just my opinion.
I would normally of upgraded way before now but I'm really happy with the S8 Plus and will hang on until something really jumps out at me.

leo90, 12 Jul 2019one week befor i purchased s8plus facing battry draining wh... morewhat is your average battery usage...you can save some amount of battery by reducing your screen resolution...as well as the Always on display...limit background processes....kill the background running aapps...i hope this will be littlebit helpful

David jan, 10 Aug 2019How I can make fast and battery safe of my s8+try the developer options in the settings...minimize all the animatio scale to 0.5...ihave done this so far and now its somewhat faster than the old one...apply a dark theme so you can save battery more than you do with the original theme....

Plz guide.Its not much difficult to select...go for the s8 plus..i have used the both phones which you have mentioned above...A50 on screen finger print is too slow...also the other specs...i bought a s8 plus long tme ago and still works smoothly....dont buy a a50....just buy a s8 plus....
