FullmetalJun, 06 Apr 2019It's black. It's just that the S9+ amoled screen is blacker... moreIt seems we are both right. The display is somewhat better, but as I pointed out, the menu is not completely black.
The color code for black is #000000, while the color used in the Android menu is #080808
It's just that on the S8+ you can tell the difference between the two colors. The screenshot below is taken on my S8+.

I was holding my S8+ next to my friend's S9+, when I noticed that on my phone the settings menu is not completely black, but dark gray..
Couldn't they use black on the S8+ too? WTF Samsung??

The OnePlus 6 does support aptx hd. It's your Bluetooth device that need to support the codecs.

I don't care about ip rating since no phone makers cover water damage even if the phone is waterproof. Just don't drop it in a pool.

Managed to get a cheap Galaxy S8+ (as I still had the old case) but now I feel that I want something new. Something better.
My only issues with the OnePLus 6 is the lack of "proper" IP-rating, seemingly poorer audio output (via speakers & connected bluetooth headphones) and...i think that's it.
The Galaxy S8+ has now Dolby Audio (tho still with mono speakers) and have IP87 rating.
Does the 128GB OnePLus 6 still a worthy buy than the S8+?

Take the OnePlus 6 over the S8+ without thinking.
Get at least the 128GB version. It takes better photos than the s8+

I am going mad on what phone to choose next.
Talking about their respective hardware, optimisations and the latest updates which phone camera (front & rear) offers more true-to-life colours generally, less tendency to overexpose or underexpose, greater detail, sharpness, less grany & less noisy photos at low light, less noise when zooming in on subjects, much more video stabilization (1080p @30fps, 1080p @60fps & 4K @30fps) and better audio bitrate & clarity recording?
OnePlus 6 or the Galaxy S8+?

Anonymous, 02 Apr 2019same question hereAssuming that you have mobile data and the update is available for you to download (many people have still not recieved PIE) you should do it in the normal way by going into 'settings' and then selecting 'software update'
