Fantastic phone and has been flawless since launch and will easily last me more than another year. In fact it will take a really great phone to come along for me to even consider giving up the S8 Plus and I'm one of those people that usually has to have the latest model.

Perhaps try wiping cache, it could be a number of things causing the issue including a dodgy app.
●Turn off the device.
●Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key (keep pressing all keys together)
●When the Android logo displays, release all keys ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
●Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe cache partition and then ”Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume down key to highlight “yes” and press the Power key to select.
●When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.Press the Power key to restart the device.
If this fails, I would perhaps look at 'Device Manager' then 'battery ' to see if there are any apps that are causing any issues with background activities.
If all else fails I would consider a factory reset and if it still isn't rectified then it would be off to the service centre for me.

I bought the phone an year ago, been working fine so far. But the phone has recently been heating up quite a lot although it would be understandable if it had only happened during the gaming sessions. However the phones seems to warm up quite a bit even when just watching videos on youtube for a short while. Any idea if it is due to the recent updates or could be a battery issue(highly doubtful since I have been using it quite responsibly so far). Anyone else facing similar issues?

Does the other side complain of muffled sound...? Is ringtone loud enough ? Thanks....
