Hi everyone
I have a HTC U11 and also a LG g6 but I am very tempted to buy a Samsung S8 plus but I want to ask you people out there do you recommend it and also is the call quality really good,?
It would also be my first ever Samsung phone also but I have seen prices for it on amazon for less than 600 quid which seem very good value brand new.

We both use our phones heavily and I convinced her to manually adjust brightness. I use mine at about 55% at day and 40% bright at night. She did the same.
I checked her battery usage stats. She gets about 18 hrs use and 4.5-5.5hrs screen time depending on how much snapchat FB or yt she uses. For me I'm not too big on social media but I love yt vids and I usually get 24hrs use 5.5-7hrs screen time. Both are amazing for their battery sizes. Oh and unless I watch video I set screen to lowest resolution.
They are the same excellent quality screen but I like video in the larger s8+ But one handed use for her baby s8 is amazing. I have average hands and so s8+ is usable one handed but it feels like always top end wants to fall because it is heavier and taller. Baby s8 feels just right. Split screen and scrolling pages are awesome on 2:1 displays. Can't go back to reg screen ratio. Oh and typing seems nice on my s8+ I thinks it's because the screen curves too close to keyboard on baby s8.
Cameras and sound are both good but I think low light performance on lg g5 had less 'noise' But video capture is awesome. Maybe hers is flawed but iris scan seems more accurate on my s8+ and so she gets annoyed and doesn't use it
We don't even bother with face Id.
Hers charges faster but most likely because baby s8 has smaller battery. Finger scanner placement is ridiculous af but baby s8 doesn't feel as stupid. I am used to it but coming from g5 with central rear scanner... C'mon Samsung... Do you have to try so hard to be different.?
Oh and she just dropped hers and the front screen edges Shattered. Phone is slippery and made of glass sandwich afterall. I warned her... She is having it replaced under warranty and already got herself a protective case ;D I dropped mine first day and luckily only got a paint scratch in bezel. Lucky. Always have a case on since then.

This Phone Is very Good,
The only issue i have today, idont think if anybody experience the same what happens to me, somtime i use the Rear Cam of my s8+, sometimes the Focus of the camera is stuck in blurred i dont know what happen, but when i use my finger to tap the camera it returns to its focus, i dont know if the samsung knows this issue but i think i have to visit their shops for my phone to be check up.
